We visited the restaurant because I heard from a friend that u can have breakfast in the parliament building. It is only about 10min walk from the centre of Old Quebec city.

The restaurant is filled with Quebec decor. Before you step into the building, they will ask to scan your bag. And make sure u bring your ID because they check it and give u a visitor tag.

We went to the restaurant, and surprisingly there was no one else except us! The breakfast menu is around 10 to 13 dollar. I ordered a ham and cheese omlette ($11) plus a home baked bean ($2.75), it comes with free coffee, a toast and orange juice. My friend ordered the '1974' menu( $13). Both are good but not extrodinaire. The portion is not small so it definately filled us up.

The waitress is very nice, she doesn't speak too well of english but she patiently helped us taken our photos 3 times.

We figured that we don't visit this city often, plus when do we ever get a chance to have food in a government building?

Plus after breakfast we can go for free guided tour. It's one stone two birds.

They have lunch menu which main entree runs from $17 and up. Anyone wants to visit Quebec City should really give this restaurant a try.
