Review from Audrey G.
Out of all the restaurants my Husband and I ate at in Whistler on our Honeymoon this was probably our favourite. Outside of Creekside abut a mile south, very easily accessible by bus or car (there is a ton of free parking) . We came here twice on our week long getaway for a couple of reasons... 1. They were very close to Creekside which is where we were staying 2. There was never a wait to be seated 3. Service- our waitress was fantastic and recommended some delicious appetizers and wine selections based on our dishes 4. The food was bursting with flavor! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. I went with the Lamb dish, their signature plate and I have had dreams of it ever since! Best lamb I have ever had, hands down. My husband had the fillet which was also very tasty.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quiet, romantic and delicious night out in Whistler. Go to the Village and wait for over an hour for an over price, small portioned mediocre meal... when you get sick of that go to Le Gros :) -

Really good French food! My two favorite dishes we ordered:
Brie baked in a pastry
Fish baked ina pastry
Roasted Garlic -

A great spot that the locals will be surprised you found.
Good food and great service. Everyone was very friendly and quick, and the chef himself came around and talked with the tables. (he seemed to know some of the regulars)
I tried the special for the night the 30 seasoning steak. It was good but the best dish at our table was the roast lamb. Salads, soups and desserts were all top notch.
Not cheap but better prices than you'll find for similar food in Whistler Village make this place worth the taxi fare. We'll be back when visiting Whistler again. -

Do you love lamb, steaks, amazing specials, intimate setting, service that makes you smile? Well then you can't go wrong with this place. It's off the beaten track and not anywhere near the Village so you know it will be good food, locals almost exclusively and a Chef/owner that makes you feel like family.
I WILL eat here again anytime I'm in the Whistler area - Period
French Onion Soup: :)
Rack of Lamb: Big, tender and flavored perfectly!
30 Seasonings Steak: Grrrreat!
Cod w/ Jumbo Prawns: MORE plz
Deserts... oh yeah
Prices: Not cheap, but less than you'd pay for this kind of food anywhere else in Whistler. -

Not worth the cab fare!
Our waiter was possibly the most snobby person I've ever met. Our choices were met with sneers and snide remarks. Our food took ages to come, and half of the dishes were cold by the time they arrived. Very pricy, and very elitist. -

Awesome food and even a greater setting. Pascal, the owner and Chef is the finest. You won't be disappointed.
