Great crepes and worth a lunch or snack if you visit Quebec City. La Béarn and La Pontivienne were great. Also for dessert, the La Salidou.

The food here is delicious and responsibly priced - we all absolutely loved our crepes, especially the duck confit. They have a nice little cocktail list too!
The restaurant is small but cozy, so be ready for fairly slow service. I would imagine it fills up with tourists during peak times. -

Most delicious inexpensive crepes in Quebec city. The impressively hardworking tiny staff is also very helpful and fast. Has casual atmosphere.

Like Kate, we also found this little restaurant listed online as an authentic creperie, but we didn't try the crepes. Instead, we were BLOWN away by the salads. I ordered one that had a poached egg on top and I've done the same at home every since.
We loved it so much that we went back a second time (both times for lunch) during our stay in Quebec City. The space is charming and very romantic (like the whole city).
I recommend trying to sit in the back section which is lofted--very cozy.
The perfect place for a light lunch and an afternoon espresso. -

in search of a good creperie during our stay in quebec city, we decided to venture outside the old city walls to the more commercial part of town on rue saint-jean to le billig based upon previous yelp reviews of said creperie, and the more touristy and crowded creperies within the city walls. when we finally arrived le billig, we were struck by how quaint and cozy the space was along the busy and modern part of rue saint-jean; i guess much like any creperie in any town.
we were seated by a super friendly server, who took our orders with a smile. there was no snootiness about not being able to speak french fluently...his english was perfect. we ordered the duck confit crepe, and the smoked salmon crepe, with a non-alcoholic ice cider. their crepes are made from buckwheat, which set themselves apart from the other creperies in town and beyond. instead of wrapping the contents, the crepe was more of the presentation for the duck and onions, and the smoked salmon with greens sitting on top, with the edges of the crepe delicately folded in slightly. the duck confit crepe was served with a small salad of fresh greens. every bite was delightful, different and a real treat. -

Recommended on Chowhound as the most authentic creperie in Quebec, it didn't disappoint. The duck confit crepe with onion marmalade was seriously delicious, one of best crepes I've ever had in my life (granted I haven't had that many, especially savory ones.) The chocolate-banana crepe my husband chose was pretty good as well, but more run-of-the-mill than the duck confit one. Wish I could've gotten a salted caramel crepe! It's not inside the walls, but it's worth walking a few blocks to this place. It's not touristy at all, unlike many eateries inside the walls. The waiter was very nice too.

Despite recalling mostly useless French phrases from high school French class, I decided to venture out of the walled portion of Quebec city to try the crepes here. The restaurant was very cosy and cheerful inside. Unfortunetly my server seemed to only vaguely recall some phrases from her high school English, which made asking any questions about the menu a bit of a challenge. Luckily, I was able to point to a selection (the menu was only available in French as well!) and when it arrived I was not disapointed. I'd love to return, though I may brush up on my French a little more so I can truly enjoy the experience!

This is a new addition to my list of regular restaurants when I am in Quebec City. It is inexpensive, friendly and the crepes are excellent. I took three colleagues here tonight and everyone enjoyed the experience. The place is not fancy but it has a unique character. It is off the tourist track, but still only a 15-20 minute walk from the Chateau Frontenac. Well worth a visit!
