Love this location, Im usually caught shopping in the Queen/Dundas/College area. This LCBO is right there located conveniently across the mall, next door to the Forever 21 on your left . Its open pretty late for downtown location. Away from this one...I think the next closet one would be the LCBO by Wellesley and Yonge.

The cashiers are quite quick but expect to wait in line for a few 5-10mins because its just sooo busy.

This LCBO is the worst one I have encountered as it relates to rudeness of the cashiers, crowd control and general service attitude which you would expect in a very profitable service industry.  I suggest that all staff attend a professionalism refresher course or get forced rotation out to Queen's Quay to see how they should be treating their customers.

As more luxury downtown condos are appearing over the next 2 years, the congestion will become even more unbearable.   LCBO management better have some kind of plan in place to deal with this impending new customer issue as well as hiring staff that will instill a feeling of wanting them to return.

I don't like that this place has a Bay Street address. It's closer to Yonge.

I'm not going to go on about the all encompassing failure that is called the LCBO (well, maybe a little).  This review is to outline the specific deficiencies of this location.

The only reason I go to this location is because it's very close to work and home.

They should be open longer. Seriously. Why only 22:00? I can see a location like this thriving until at least midnight if not even later into the small hours. The people that work here make $18-$25/hour so I'm sure they wouldn't complain.

The stock turns over like a mother-effer here. I'll check the inventory in the mid-afternoon and when I'm available after work it's already gone or not put out yet by the staff (that never seem to be on the floor). The LCBO site should have up to the minute stock counts, it wouldn't be difficult to implement. They should also anticipate the high turnover and order more for their store.

The vagrants that shop here smell better than the ones that patronize The Beer Store. I think overall there are more vagrants at the Yonge/Wellesley location but this one definitely has more students...buying mickeys.

There's a semi-functional entrance off of Dundas but you can only enter down an escalator. Don't even think about leaving the way you came in.

Is there a star option for "not my favourite"? Because this is not my favourite LCBO. In fact, on a scale of "1 to Summerhill LCBO" it's a 1.

With the exception of cashiers, staff is nowhere to be found. I knew what I was looking for, but being new to the concept of wine in bottles (as opposed to boxes - KIDDING) I didn't know where to find it. I spent a good thirty minutes dodging reeking hobos and fauxmless people trying to find a very specific bottle of wine. There seemed to be more vagrants than typically present in an LCBO.

I bought four bottles of wine and wasn't offered a bag even though I had my nickel ready. They only had individual paper bags - no plastic. Pardon me if I don't want to carry three litres of wine in separate paper bags on the TTC.

The entrance is difficult to find. It's in the basement of the Atrium On Bay near the subway. There are signs on the map showing it in a different spot but don't be deceived...it's way in the corner.

Visited this location just before the Thanksgiving long weekend. The location is not the best and the biggest and is nothing compared to the Summerhill one. The options are limited but the place is decently stocked. The location being in the basement with confusing entry/exit causes an issue during busy times. A bit more staff would help especially during the holidays. This place is good for your regular pick-n-leave. But if you are looking for a good wine options, you may not be very happy.
