Specialties
Laserfix uses laser welding to repair all types of eyeglass frames including titanium and plastics. We developed the process in 1999 and have repaired over 20,000 frames for opticians across and Canada and more recently, the general public. Most repairs take 30 minutes, are guaranteed one year and cost $45.00 including taxes.
History
Established in 1999
Laserfix started in the dental laboratory where we specialized in producing dental prosthetics including working with titanium implants. Our experience working with all types of metals and plastics helped in developing techniques to repair eyeglass frames. Our equipment costs well over $100,000.00 and is not to be compared to a $100.00 torch that most other repair shops have used in the past. Our research continues as eyeglass frame materials evolves.
