Its 2:50 pm and I'm still sitting in the waiting area to be taken back for my 2:25 pm appointment which was originally scheduled for the Mississauga location but they had to reschedule me to Brampton since their equipment is down... whatever that means. (No equipment was used for my session.)

A few minutes later I was taken back for my consultation with the doctor, who apologized for being late (even though she'd been there at least as long as I had) due to coming up from Mississauga. WTF?!?!? If that's true, why did my appointment there for 11:25 get cancelled??? I digress.

So she takes a look at me, seated about 2-feet away and says I have hormonal pigmentation. OK. Whatever. Then says I can get the Triple Layer Peel that I'd booked but that I would need to purchase some cream to use at home for 5-days following the peel for $40 or I could buy a larger amount for more. Ummm... say what?! So you get me to drive an extra 20 minutes out of my way on my day off then make me sit for nearly 30 minutes past my appointment time to feed me scare tactics claiming that if I don't buy your product to take home that the peel won't even work?!?! I say OK to end the argument. Then she tells me that there is no cream in stock so I can come back tomorrow. I don't think so. I let her know that I will not be coming back tomorrow to get the cream and that I want the peel even if it "doesn't work". She then sends me to pay the tax (I had pre-purchased a voucher for the peel). The girl at the desk asked me how I wanted to pay. I said I had cash and handed her a $20 bill. Then she said she had to get change and stood up, asking the other girl where to get change from. I realize they are talking about from another business in the complex. (Maybe they could have figured out their kitty in the time I'd already wasted there.) I told her I could pay with a credit card, and did so.

Next I was told to go wash my face. (Mind you I came in with a freshly washed face, with only a thin layer of SPF day-cream on.) A little confused I asked for clarification. I was directed to go back to the bathroom and use the soap there to wash my face with. No towel. No washcloth. I ran the water and splashed it all over myself and the floor in my attempt to wash my face. Then I had the pleasure of drying it with paper towel.

*** I have to make a point here: I have had facial treatments of all sorts over the past 15-years and NEVER EVER have I gone in for a treatment where I was directed to go to their bathroom before the session to wash my face. Really? It takes 1 to 2 minutes to do and having the skin prepped by the technician makes the experience pleasant. This was cheap. And bothersome. ***

Into the room... right pissed off I lay back as directed on a chair under big, bright, florescent ceiling lights. Thank goodness for Melissa. Melissa was pleasant, which was barely enough to lighten my mood. She did a fantastic job of applying the peel and giving me follow up instructions. She was very friendly, professional, and if she worked anywhere else would have me as a regular. She is the ONLY reason this business is getting 2 stars and not only 1.

If you want decent customer service from a clinic or to be treated with respect and not an obligation/chump... do NOT go here.
