I absolutely love this place! I discovered LaLa's when I lived near Deep Cove, and became obsessed with their enormous (and reasonably priced) cocktail rings. In fact, I've been back countless times to add to my collection/obsession.
They have great kitschy gifts and cards, unique jewelry and hair bobbles, and super fun bath and kitchen accessories - hello, guitar ice cube tray! The perfect place to buy a gift... or spend your entire paycheck. -

What a treat to get some retail therapy in after a sunny hike to Quarry Rock. While the bf waited in line at Honeys Doughnuts, my gf and I wandered over to LaLa's. I've been wanting to check this place out for the past 5 years (I've heard very good things). Since I knew it was in North Van, part of me always imagined it to be on the Lonsdale Quay and not in Deep Cove (I haven't been to the Cove in years, shame on me). Quel surprise to stumble across this amazing shop. The jewelry and accessories are gawk-worthy and the Goddess hand cremes transformed my stinky hiker self into a decadent-smelling diva.
The store is beyond cute, you really must come. It's a girly place filled with fun gifts for self and others. Great place to swing by while in the Cove!
Awesome factor x100: they carry these really cute/hilariously rude cartoon cards! -

Ooh, LaLa, they've changed yet again. I was invited for the wine and cheese celebrating the new look. With one hand on our champagne glasses and the other dipping crackers into delicious fruit compotes (that are also sold in the store) and cheeses, my sister and I made our way around the store mentally buying fairy-princess gear for the nieces, barbecue accessories for the dudes, and that retro-looking stationery with the naughty captions for ourselves.
The store is now much more open in design, and while they've pared down the home decor stuff, they've brought in a lot more bags and costume jewellery and spa stuff, not to mention a lot of gifts for kids, which is important to indulgent auntie-types like me.Listed in: Fall into Deep Cove

In comparison to Room6 a couple doors down, LaLa definitely seemed a bit more of a run-of-the-mill… Read more »

Wow everything you could possibly never know you wanted until you walk into this place. I was immediately drawn to the excellent selection of Kikerland, why my other half drooled over the candles. We both agreed that they have an excellent selection of children's toys, and things. The holidays are coming and this would be a great stop on anyones list for that someone who you have a hard time buying for and not sure what to get them.... well I am positive you will find it here. Just pack an over night bag because this ain't in Kansas Dorthy!

After having brunch at Arms Reach I stopped in at LaLa and finally found a backpack that could contain my 17" laptop! I thought I was being smart by jotting down the name of the bag so that I could shop around for it back in Vancouver. Turns out that their price was $15 less than the competition. Doh! In the future, if I see something cute at LaLa, I'll trust that it's fairly priced and will save myself the hassle and just buy it then and their. Lesson learned.

It took a while getting used to the new store, but I'm definitely a fan. I am particularly impressed with their selection of jewelry. Really cute, different, and very well priced. Lots of great other stuff - fun to browse around. Hard to resist. Definitely stop by when you're in Deep Cove.
