This is a great shop situated in the Hydrostone Market. I love this little shopping area, there are so many stores that carry unique things.

You will find a lot of one of the kind items here. The crafts and jewellery
are fantastic. I like things a little different and this store provides just the right amount of Off the Wall for me!

Take your time , check out the art work.

Fun, fun, fun! First of all, this shop can be found in one of the best neighborhoods in Halifax (Canada, in fact according to a recent article): the Hydrostone Market. This boutique is chock full of fun, feminine accessories - everything from jewelry to fascinators. You'll even find an art gallery in the back of the store. Four stars instead of five because the prices are a little higher than I expected. But keep in mind, the items are unique and often locally made.

Lady Luck is a fantastic addition to the Hydrostone Market and a shop to draw both crafty and urban babes alike.

The jewelry and accessories tend to be a bit more edgy and young than most shops sporting the locally made flavour. And while its all quite hip, pieces exceed the concept of 'trend' to provide artful and innovative designs.

A juxtaposition of buttons on both rings and pins. Tarnished vinyl skillfully sculpted as bracelets. Purses made from old leather coats. Rings constructed from the glass of busted in bus shelters. Shelffuls of purses-- no two are alike. Leather earrings that are just plain cool. The list goes on.

There are some more reserved jewelry pieces as well, as Lady Luck covers it all. With all of this fabulous going on, I hardly had time to notice the large art gallery at the back of the room. Vibrant landscapes  were this month's feature. Gorgeous!

This shop embodies a fine range of original items. Great taste and lots of pleasant surprises... I can't wait until next time.

This is a darling little boutique, cuddled into the row of trendy shops at the Hydrostone Market. You will find loads of treasures, from chic caps to shiny jewelry to body products.

I bought a lovely little hat at this shop not so long ago. Actually, my sweet mother bought it for me during an afternoon date. We bopped around this store, admiring lovely mobiles and locally created goods like rings and necklaces made out of recycled buttons.

Tucked away in the back, you will find an art gallery highlighting fantastic local talent. This space is such a treat to visit, with great goods for sale and kind employees willing to assist you on your shopping adventure. I encourage you to visit this boutique, whether you're shopping for yourself or a loved one, you're sure to find something charming to tickle and delight.

Lady Luck located in the area is a Vintage store that when you walk in will have you saying wow.  This is a second location that I found of Lady Luck but much enjoy this location better.

I love the set up and design of this boutique. Set in the beautiful structure of the Hydrostone dwelling  with hardwood floors and what looks like an old county store counter that used to hold candy now houses Jewelry.  Many pieces are located through the store both Vintage as well as the newer fashion of the chunky looks with I do not personally wear.  Hats tucked in corners and atop of busts as an eye catching display will make you wonder how they would look on you and yes you will try at least one on.

Accessories such as sunglasses and scarves will be just enough to show off the jewelry that you will be tempted to purchase in this beautiful boutique.

Lady Luck is located in the fancy strip of trendy shops and restaurants in the Hydrostone Market. From the outside, this place looks very unassuming. True, there are some lovely items in the window, but really the magic begins once you're inside.

At the back of the boutique is the art gallery with paintings and sculptures by local artists...definitely a place to hide out in the depth of winter.

The front of the store is filled with intriguing handcrafted items from kitch to glorious. Handmade handbags, today I saw small clutch purses made out of those 1960's "flower petal" bathing caps - so fun!

You'll find one of a kind jewelery, sweaters and more and if you can leave in less than an hour...there's something wrong with you. Just kidding, but it really is a great find.

Cute little jewelry, body product, handbag, accessory store in the Hydrostone strip. A lot of the items here are Maritime or Canadian made, which is great. I spotted some hats I recognize as made by a Vancouver company, and there were profiles accompanying much of the jewelry on display. The store owner was very sweet and chatted with my while I browsed.

Best/goofiest item in the store: purses made out of frilly, flower-adorned bathing caps. Produced locally in Lunenberg. And BEFORE YOU ASK: yes, you can also buy the bathing caps themselves, un-pursified. (I now see that Ruth also mentioned these, but they are worth mentioning again. Weirdness.)
