Review from Kimberley M.

When I moved to Halifax, more than a year and a half ago, I looked for a doctor and was able to find one practicing at the Lacewood Medical Clinic. Since forming a relationship with Dr. Salih at this clinic, I've always had a great experience with the Lacewood Medical Clinic.
Doctors and the staff are friendly and courteous, although you can tell that they are constantly busy. Wait time can often be 10-20 minutes past appointment time, but since they've moved to the newer building, the waiting room is much improved (TV's, ample seating) and the wait time I've experienced each time I've been in has been less than 10 minutes past appt time.
I've seen many of the doctors at the clinic and all of them I would definitely recommend to others. -

I have been going to this office since it first opened with only one doctor. In the beginning Dr Power was amazing. He's gone through a lot of secretary staff since he opened. The current ones are not on the ball, not pleasant nor are they efficient.
Dr Power's bedside manner has gone downhill, you are allowed to discuss one thing with him now even it only takes 5 mins... I feel I am fighting to get medical attention with him now.
The worst part of it is you have to wait to get an appt to see the doctor and then only get a short minute of time to talk to him after he tells you to make another appointment to continue the discussion. -

Huge wait times, worn out Medical Receptionists, worn out Doctors and a wait room full of people that always spills out into the hall way.
I've been going here since I moved to Halifax and every time I go in for an appointment my day onwards is a total write off due to how horrible the experience is. I'm only there due the substantial lack of GPs in Halifax. -

Blood collection clinic every tuesday is only $11 but it is worth it if you value your time and don't want a trainee poking your arm several times at the district sites.
