Review from Shaggy M.
Vancouver, BC
Aside from having to be there waiting in line ridiculously early (5am) and never knowing where or when or if you're going to be sent to work or how long the day is going to be or whether or not you're going to be inside or outside, in the rain, in the cold or in the sweltering heat or whether of not you're going to be able to get back to the office on time to get payed that day.
All that aside, this location has usually sent me to work at some pretty good places. The sites are always safe and they make the trip to the site as easy as possible. I would defiantly recommend going to work for these people, but only if the person was desperate for cash. If they weren't desperate for cash, then I would tell them that there are easier ways to make money. -
Review from Mina B.
i came in here after wasting 5 and a half hours at labour unlimited a few blocks away.
i walked up to the counter and before i could even say a word the woman told me that she needed me for the next day. sweet. she needed one more girl and i was the only girl out of like 30 people in there. she told me to come back the next morning at 6 and work would start at 7.
i got there at 6, made sure the same lady from yesterday recognized me and sat down expecting her to take care of me shortly. she was very busy getting a group of 12 men together and sending them to whistler for a few days. when the group finally left it was already after 7. well NOW i expected her to call my name and send me out to work. i waited. and waited for a little bit longer. she was still very busy but i finally went up to her making sure she didn't forget about me.
i asked her when and where i had to go and she told me that i wasn't going anymore. she said that yesterday one of the girls said she couldn't come anymore (and that was right before i walked in there) but that the girl called back and said she could come.
well then why the hell didn't she call me back to tell me that???
i left the house at 5am on a cold, rainy november day to find out something she could have told me on the phone the afternoon before? or at least she could have told me right when i walked in at 6. but i waited for an hour and a half and only found out cos i went up to her.
very disappointing
