A high-quality, fine dining establishment, La Strada is a good place to go for some authentic Italian cuisine.
The ambience is professional yet inviting, the servers polite and courteous (though somewhat robotic).
The food is simple and traditional, they don't go for anything fancy, new-age or fusionistic here. Try the beef carpaccio as a start to go with a Caesar salad, and then go for the Pollo Quo Vadis (Chicken in Cognac cream sauce). Any dish with veal is fantastic.
Although it is considered fine dining and the dress code reflects that, it isn't to the point that they will turn you away if you're not wearing a jacket. I've even seen some people who eat there in jeans. The prices are also reasonable priced for the quality of food, and atmosphere.
The perfect dinner for a date or anniversay celebration! -

I agree with the previous review that La Strada is classic Italian. Nothing that you haven't seen before but executed well.
I had the lasagna and melon/prosciutto appetizer. Lasagna was good but I don't think I would order the melon/prosciutto again. It was something you can throw together at home in 5 minutes. I would say La Strada is very safe but you can't fault a place for sticking with what it knows.
Our server was a nice older gentlemen but he was absent for most of the meal.
The price is also quite high considering the fare. Considering other fine dining options, I might be hard pressed to return.
