This place is pretty good for what it is. The rooms are clean, a typical hotel size, they allow dogs and the price is pretty reasonable- we paid about $75 a night. There is also a small pool and hot tub but its kind of awkward because eveyrone walking by can see you. The continental breakfast is not bad. My brother says the sausage and eggs are McDonald's quality, but there's a nice variety of pastries, cereals, waffles, toast and beverages.
One thing worth noting: in the two days I stayed there, I never once saw someone at the front desk. -

La Quinta is a decent hotel with affordable rooms, a swimming pool, a gym, and free wifi. The lobby and rooms are fairly clean, though don't expect anything ultra-modern, just your typical budget hotel. The bed mattresses are pretty plush yet firm. I can't stand with the majority of budget hotels have mattresses that are so poorly shaped and worn down, that you can't even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. Amenities are basic in the rooms, a refrigerator that you can store your drinks and food in, a sizable office table where you use your laptop, and a TV with a decent selection of cable channels to watch from. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained, with solid water pressure that won't disappoint.
Free continental hot breakfast is also available in the lobby, though it is something I'd be wary of revisiting. The eggs are rubbery and unappetizing, but this hotel probably rates in the worst sausage patty I've ever had in a hotel. These sausage patties almost look like hamburger patties, but that are completely tasteless. I couldn't even get through two bites, before I decided to throw it out. It was pretty much the general consensus from all my friends as well, two days in a row. The orange juice is a bit watered down, while everything else is the norm, fruits, cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea. If you only have a few days in Richmond, I'd recommend skipping the breakfast and try something local.
The best part about La Quinta is that it is fairly central to a vast selection of Asian food restaurants varying from Korean, Thai, Chinese, and Japanese. Several blocks down, within walking distance, is the Canadian Superstore, what many would consider as a Walmart Supercenter. You can stop here for any snacks, drinks, or groceries.Listed in: Vancouver

We stayed here for 3 nights on a trip to vancouver. The rooms are comfortable and neat. They have a small swimming pool, spa and a gym in the ground floor. Even the price was pretty reasonable. They also provided internet service to rooms and 2 computers in the ground floor with internet. The only problem I noticed for this place, there are only asian restaurants around this place. And even mc donalds which is near to this place has a customised menu and didnt have a regular menu as other mc donalds. So we have to go little far of from this place for some good restaurants. They offer complimentary breakfast which was the best part.
They have airport pick up and drop and it is just 15mins drive from the vancouver international airport. -

We stayed at this hotel on the recommendation of a friend. It is smack on the street where you can eat till your eyeballs pop. The vast selection of chinese and asian restaurants is absolutely mind boggling. I still can't complete wrap my head around the amount of restaurants to choose from. We stayed here for 4 nights and did not have or see any issues with cars being broken into.
I had my concerns with the other poster for this hotel, but because of it's location had to take the chance. We were happy with our stay. The employees made accomodations and corrected issues quickly. The room was clean although we had one night where teens were playing video games ALL NIGHT LONG, and making a racket. Oh well I slept thru most of it.
I'd recommend it to anyone needing a clean place to stay and for relatively little money.. in comparison to other hotels in the area I'd say at least 10-20% less.
