There's no real reason to not give Jojo's coffee bar at La Piazza Dasee a full 5 star rating. A very spacious cafe with comfortable furniture, free wifi, several plug points, great menu of eats and coffees, including the spiked varieties, airy, summery and a lot more good.
It's a quiet place, off Whyte that doesn't see too much traffic but somehow manages to perform well on the delivery of quality coffee, tea and snacks. They have a small menu of two salads, 4-5 paninis, 4-5 baked goods and some other small eatables. Nothing too fancy. Simply made, served in Ikea-style cutlery and just done neatly. The barista is friendly and very easy to talk to.
Jojo's coffee bar is part of La Piazza Dasee which is an interior design studio of sorts. They have lots of fake plants that look awesome, some nice vases and small collectables as well. Most importantly though, they have fresh flowers in a cold room and trust me, the flowers are damn good looking here!
Some other nice things include a monthly (I think) Tango night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. where they clear out all the cafe furniture and create an awesome dance space. Mind you, being wooden floored already makes for a great dance space. It's not tremendously huge, but one could imagine 10-15 couples tango-ing here. Also, tickets for the tango night are $10 which is an affordable option for many. One more thing - they have a liquor license! They don't have fancy liquor. Just some standard varieties of beer, a couple varieties of wine and some predictable liquors to spike hot drinks with. I would certainly come here on a weekday afternoon to have a glass of wine, IF I COULD!
It's a great place to get work done on weekday afternoons. No real rush and lots of seating space with free wifi. -

This is my new all-time favourite coffee shop ever. For any purpose. In fact, scratch that first sentence. This is my new all-time favourite place ever. Period.
As Stefon would say, this place has everything. Fresh flowers, home decor, hot coffee, paninis, and fraristas (friendly baristas).
My super sweet barista asked me how sweet I would like my London Fog. No one has ever asked me that before! I said "medium," and it was the best London Fog I've had since Muddy Waters closed down last year (RIP).
The cafe area is nice and open with a few tables and a couches. It's got a nice big window to let sun stream in, plus free wireless and several plug-ins.
The entire shop smells like fresh flowers and there are gorgeous little design pieces around available for purchase. The oldies station completes the vibe for my perfect sit-and-work-on-my-laptop-and-drink-lots-of-coffee destination.Listed in: Five Star Favourites, Date Night, Cups of Coffee, High-five for wi-fi!

La Piazza Dasse has supplied flowers for many weddings I've photographed over the past few years, and they never disappoint. Fresh, gorgeous flowers in arrangements that look new and far from stale is what I have come to expect. Artistic and elegant, different from the rest and a cut above the rest. Highly recommend.

La Piazza Dasee has moved locations and expanded their services. A friend used them for her wedding two years ago when they were in their old location. They did all the bouquets and centre pieces. Their work was absolutely beautiful and like nothing I have ever seen before. They use materials other than just flowers to make your arrangements one of a kind. They use jewels and interesting techniques with grass and leaves to create pieces of art. I find their prices are not too bad considering the work they do. Any time I get an arrangement from them I am always more than satisfied, and whoever the lucky recipient is usually asks "Where on earth did you get this?!".
The new Piazza Dasee has a lot of home decor and now also does event decorating. They can work within a variety of budgets to create exactly what you are looking for. Unfortunately, the girl I usually go to there has recently moved to the states, but I have received really great service from the rest of the staff I have dealt with since she left. I recommend checking this place out if you are looking for an arrangement that looks like it belongs in a magazine!
