My new favorite place for takeout! Great value for great prices and never stingy on the cheese!
I usually favor local pizza joints over the big chain guys but abandoned my go-to, Sicilian Pizza, when I moved to Clayton Park and their location out that way just didn't measure up to the standards set by their Quinpool location. I retreated back to Greco but it was more painful with each order considering their prices are sky-high and their donair sauce tastes rather congealed. (While I love donair sauce, one thing I don't like to do is THINK about what is in it while I'm eating it.)
La Palina's donair sauce is their own recipe, it's great and they give you a lot of it without charging for extra. I'm not a huge fan of the pizza, but I adore their garlic fingers. They LOAD cheese on both and are never stingy with toppings. They frequently have great combo deals and I believe they deliver to the Fairview/Clayton Park area.
A great choice for garlic finger lovers living near the Bedford highway who wants to support local business.
