Review from Anatoli L.
It should be 3.5 stars
Stopped in for a dinner. French onion soup was not bad, but somehow was lacking the "umph" for me - at least the broth tasted real (see my review for Beef Baron in Niagara Falls).
Out of two Boston steaks, one was ok, but the second one tasted more as it was sautéed first, and then grilled - not bad, but strange. Caribou stew was excellent, with very nice spices. We also liked French fries with local addition of cheese and gravy, which is called Pautine - vey good.
Quebec meet pie was a disappointment - it was absolutely dry and didn't have any liquid inside. While it had a lot of meat, it was barely edible.
Service was good overall, but we had to wait for the check longer than we would want to.
Not recommended - there are better dining options around. -

Wow, I was craving a french onion soup at the time and was severely disappointed, everything about it was just so flat. The broth wasn't hot, the cheese was not fully melted, the bread was hard and stale. I did enjoy the boston steak however, but overall, we regretted falling for this tourist trap. My wife had the meat pie and it was disappointing as well.

I've enjoyed this place the couple of times that I've gone but to be fair I had the French Onion soup and a meh... salad. I stick to the soup because it is very good and it is great when you are visiting the city in winter.

No stars this was a tourist trap, really bad. Don't go, great neighborhood bad food. I had Caribou Stew really bad tasted like liver gone bad. My girlfriend had a crepe with nothing in it but there was supposed to be. Salads were bad and bread was tasteless. Service was decent but I would avoid.
