Review from Brit L.
Was in Quebec for a few days and saw this place written up in the NYT article "36 Hours in Quebec City". This place is eclectic in the best way possible. It has no pretentious but manages to be hip all at once. The vintage decor is perfect and the open kitchen makes the space seem very homey.
We went for dinner and had a ball. There was ONE GUY doing everything. With what seemed like great ease he was the waiter, the bartender, the cook and the buss boy. He did a great job, our food was delicious, our glasses were full of wine the entire time and my husband made the top score on Paperboy. Yes, that's right they have Nintendo at one of the tables. It was a pretty slow Tuesday night, so I imagine he gets more help on the weekends but I'd definitely recommend heading out to La Cuisine, it is an awesome experience.
