La Bretange is the only crepe place I have found that isn't a Cafe Crepe. In comparison, their crepes are indescribly better. I ordered a sweet crepe (Banana, Nutella, Strawberry) so I can only comment on sweet, not savory. When it arrived I was immediately taken aback by the size of it, it's sheer magnitude dwarfs any crepe from Cafe Crepe with ease. I swear there was at least one entire banana in my crepe.

The crepe was hot, fresh, and delicious. The price was right too.

This place was a delight ! I liked the ambience - nice and cozy with a big TV in the corner to follow the Canucks .. The french onion soup was slightly tangy but then again, I'm no judge of the original Brittany taste.

We ordered the Ratatouille n Swiss cheese crepe and it came out very well done and tasteful. It's rare to find something vegetarian for my wife in French cuisine but we found this here and boy were we glad !!

We topped it off with the Poir Belle-Helene : the Pear and Vanilla icecream crepe with chocolate sauce drizzle and whipped cream on the side. This was to die for and very well made.

Given the usual french fare for anything more gourmet than a soup and a Crock-monsieur, the portions were filling while not very hearty. Nonetheless, we loved the crepes and would recommend this as a brunch place for anyone looking for one on Robson Street

For years now this has been my go-to breakfast spot when visiting Vancouver.  Something about being able to choose from seemingly a zillion different fillings has me mouthwatering the night before just thinking about it.  I'll admit that I've even branched out and given them a whirl later in the day for an early dinner, and once for desert.  Delish.

Which is why I'm hoping our visit Sunday morning was a fluke and not a sign of a downward spiral to come.  Do you have a new chef?  I can't think of another reason that would adequately explain why the 4 crepes at our table were seconds away from being charcoal: blackened in many areas, breaking at the folds, inexplicably soggy on the bottom - not the otherwise crispy and delicious items we've come accustomed to from here.  It didn't seem to matter if you got the regular or buckwheat - both were just not coming out right.  And it wasn't just our table; a quick look around and everyone's looked sub-par (although seeing too many tables away was difficult given the ever increasing amount of smoke in the place).   Add to that over cooked sausage, dried salmon, and a béarnaise sauce that looked curdled, and none of us were satisfied at the end of the meal.  It didn't help that service was severely lacking as well.

I'm not ready to write you off completely, but if our next visit is as disappointing, I'm sure there is another crepe place ready to take over.

This place has delicious food - everything I have tried here has been extremely good. I can't give this place a good rating because the times I have gone, I have experienced very poor service.

My most recent visit to the place I sat or 15 minutes before anybody took a beverage order or brought water or even really acknowledged my table. I went to ask if one of the 3 people working could come attend to our table after waiting for 15 minutes (and when you're hungry/thirsty, that feels looong) I got an exasperated look and they said 'ok'. No apology was offered. Listen, I know it's a sunday and all but for 3 people working there was a few tables on the patio and maybe 3 tables inside. I get that its busy, but deal with it. If you're busy at least bring someone water and let them know you'll be a few minutes. When the server came to take our order, we received no 'thanks for waiting' 'sorry' /human acknowledgement and had our order taken by a server that didn't even write it down. Judging that the table beside me received a wrong order, I had an intuition about the fact that it wasn't written down. Sure enough I was right because she brought 1 incorrect thing and came back to confirm items we ordered twice (?!) We never really got an apology, ever which I found very bizarre. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I find this really strange behavior and hope something that gets worked out because I've gone other times and it has unfortunately been the same. It's really a shame because the food is quite good and is the only thing deserving of stars.

My experience at Le Bretagne was a bit of a mixed bag.

I got the spinach, ricotta and bechamel crepe which was alright but not exciting and the bechamel was all slopped on it which made the portion it was slopped on overly saucy and soggy and I couldn't bring myself to eat that part! When we asked the guy about extras the waiter was unsure how much the cost was...but he was the only one there? I think he was just making it up as he went. Me and my boyfriend shared the deluxe chocolate dessert crepe (don't remember the exact name) and it was awesome! It has chocolate ice cream, chocolate sauce and whip cream...it tastes like hot chocolate. Yumm!

A few things I didn't like, I could see them making the crepes thus it was very in my face that they were using the same tools to cook the bacon for my boyfriends crepe as they were using to make my vegetarian crepe, I know restaurants do this, I choose to ignore it but prefer not to be able to see it happening! I was also really annoyed when I was asked how much I wanted to have the debit transaction go through for and I told him the amount with tip, he then seemed mad and said I had to tip a certain percent (what!?!) but then wouldn't calculate that percent for me. Not impressed at all!

Kudos for having a buckwheat option, as per the classic crepes of Brittany, but shame on them for MICROWAVING my crepe! Half of my family is from Brittany (Bretagne) and while I understand that this is a Canadian restaurant just trying to get the French flavour overseas, am I wrong to expect that they'd try to actually get it right?
Besides, microwaves in restaurants are rarely a sign of good cooking.
We got 3 crepes at our table and were done eating within 20 minutes of ordering. That alone was unsettling- crepes are not supposed to be a fast-food item! Take your time and cook each one fresh, make it a worthy representation of French food :) They're incredible when they're crispy and freshly made.

My crepe (ratatouille and swiss cheese) was soggy and stuck to the plate (thanks to the microwave), not to mention it wasn't even really hot! The eggplant in the ratatouille wasn't well-cooked, and the cheese wasn't spread properly to cover the entire inside of the crepe.
The service was mediocre, server seemed like a nice guy but didn't know much about anything on the menu. Then again, I got the feeling he's new, so maybe he's just in training.

I overheard the table next to ours send back their first crepe because there was a main ingredient missing from it, and then later on when they were given their bill, they had to ask for that to be recalculated as well because they were being charged for a drink that they had ordered and never received.

Prices are very low, maybe if they price things a little better they could afford to take the extra time to prepare things freshly instead of heating them up in a microwave.

I guess they're trying to make crepes accessible (I see some people here saying good hangover food!) which is a nice thought, so if they're comfortable with being a fast-food joint then they've done a good job.

Won't be coming back here again.

This is my second time here.  Pretty quiet.  We went on a Thursday night and there was another pair in the restaurant.  Only one person working, as server and cook.

    We ordered:
    French Onion soup
    Chicken, asparagus and bechamel crepe
Pear, vanilla ice cream, chocolate and whipped cream crepe.

French onion soup - too salty.  Will pass next time.
The chicken crepe was okay.  I give that a mediocre rating.
What I really LOVED was the pear crepe.  The pear was a perfect sweetness and the ice cream was a good touch.

Will continue to come here for that crepe itself!!

Holy hangover crepes, these are delicious!

I was in town for a ball and went out to grab a group breakfast with the crew. Everyone wanted crepes and apparently this is the spot that they come to every year.

This place has some awesome crepes - and there are SO many options, it's difficult to choose. I changed my mind 6 times by the time I placed my order...5 of these times were when the others were ordering and I decided that I wanted what they had.

I ended up getting a chicken, cheese, and ratatouille crepe and it was really, really good! Being a non-breakfast person, I opted for a lunch-y type of crepe and this was definitely a good choice.

The dessert crepes were really good, too. I stole a bite of the nutella crepe. Delicious. The service was a little slow but I guess that's what you get when you have a group of 15.

Prices here are reasonable - my only comment would be that it's pretty small so come early to get a good spot.

    Great Sunday Breakfast Joint.

Been meaning to try this place for a while now, finally managed to get there this morning, what a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a Sunday morning.

My Girlfriend and I had a crepe each along with a Latte, it was very good.  The service in all honesty was a little slow, but that was because it was very busy, so it was acceptable.

I would go back again without a doubt.

Went there for brunch last weekend with hubby and a friend and all came out very happy and satisfied. Even better than the food, was the service. Our server was super nice and sweet and even agreed to change one of our orders about 10 mins after we had ordered it!!!
The food was pretty good too. We opted for the "Vallee D'Auge" (Chicken, Apple, Mushroom & Bechamel), the baked Seafood & Spinach with White Wine Sauce, both with buckwheat flour, and La Tatin (warm apples & vanilla ice cream w/ caramel sauce flamed in Calvados) and shared them together. They were all super yummy. But I have to say my favourite was La Tatin. Soooo delicious!!!
Will go back for sure to try another one of their sweet crepes :D

Atmosphere was great, small cafe with outdoor seating.

I went in craving a crepe with smoked salmon. The one crepe that did have smoked salmon the waiter said I probably wouldn't like it for breakfast since it's served cold. I asked if he could make a hot crepe with eggs and some smoked salmon and said no, but suggested something else? I ordered the pre-set breakfast crepe, eggs cheese and sausage.. I wasn't all that impressed and didn't expect my sausages to be on the side rather than in my crepe.

I guess they don't like you messing around with their preset menu...

I don't often venture this far down Robson, but after a failed hunt for veggie ramen, La Bretagne was there to save the day.

Usually I prefer sweet crepes, because my experience with savoury crepes has been "meh", no matter where I've ordered them, but this was not the case at La Bretagne!

The menu looked amazing and I couldn't make up my mind, so I copied my friend Alex K and went with the Ratatouille and Swiss Cheese Crepe. It was so damn tasty that I'm not sure I'll be able to try something new next time I'm back here. Normally I loathe bell peppers but this Ratatouille was so delicious that I hardly noticed them! It was flavourful and had the perfect consistency, not runny at all and it was perfectly cooked.

There was plenty of cheese which always works for me, and the crepe itself was perfect and crispy in all the right spots.

I'd love to try one of the dessert crepes next time I'm here. The one with the almond paste caught my eye...

Great little, casual bistro with authentic and fantastic french crepes.  Both savory and sweet, they are some of the best that I've had.  The cappuccinos were also great.  It's a small and informal place, but good for a group of friends for brunch or an informal lunch.

The service was good, atmosphere good.

I love hole in the wall, mom and pop restaraunts so this was perfect.

Ate breakfast there. Wish they had an item more for the sweet tooth. Maybe like a frenchtoast crepe or something. I'm not a big egg person so that eliminated about 4 of the 5 options for breakfast menu. It ended up being an apple cinimon and cheese crepe, extremely unique. Ive never had hot apples and cheese. It ended up being quite good!

I would however make a trip back there, if im ever in town again, to get the looks to-die-for dessert!

Since moving to the West End away from my beloved Trixie's, http://www.yelp.ca/biz... I needed to find a new creperie that could be a staple for me on weekends. Upon reading Marc D's review about La Bretagne, I was convinced I should be taking my friends here for a late brunch on Sunday.

The four of us staggered in and the waitress brought us menus. I noticed one of the drink specials was the chocolate chai, so I wasted no time in ordering one of those up. For my brunch I ordered a crepe with asparagus, mushrooms, spinach and it was covered in a hollandaise-like sauce that was rich and cheesy. The crepe was super filling, and not *quite* as good as Trixie's, but it was still really good. The BF ordered a crepe similar to mine, but since we had been up till the wee hours of the morning working and barely slept, he decided it would be a two breakfast day, and the sweet crepe he ordered as "dessert" was amazing! It was filled with fruit and whipped crème and was better than both our breakfasts! Perhaps the savoury crepes are better at Trixie's but the sweet ones kick ass at La Bretagne. Now that I know what the specialties are, I'll be back for some sweet sweet crepes.

This morning I decided that I needed a fancy brunch, and so I made the trek to La Bretagne for some crepes. We got there around 11 and were seated immediately, but it took so long for someone to come by and ask for drinks. Service was so slow, and it may be because the waitress also stayed in the kitchen area for extended periods of time.

But the crepes! Oh those crepes are so delicious! I ordered one savoury one and two sweet ones to share (yes, for breakfast), and they were all amazing. I cannot believe cafe crepe charges so much for their awful things, when I can get an amazing full-stuffed crepe at La Bretagne for the same price.

The Vallee D'Auge (chicken, apples, mushrooms & bechamel) was a great dish to start with. The flavours all mixed together so well, and the mushrooms cut into large chunks so the crepe wasn't watery at all. We also had the almond paste & chocolate crepe, and a lemon & sugar one. While the almond & chocolate was delicious and filling (and I would order it again in a heart beat), the lemon & sugar was the winner. It was light enough that you can still taste the crepe, and not overly sweet or sour. A fantastic dish!

Overall, I love this place, and had the service been better it would've gotten my last star.

This is an awesome crepe place. It is right off Robson street on Jervis, and it is the best crepe place in neighbourhood!
It is a great place to grab a quick lunch of breakfast. They also have a small patio which is nice on a sunny day.
I love their salmon, asparagus, bechamel sauce buckwheat crepe! They also have baked crepes, which are divine. It takes a while when you order them, but they are worth the wait! I didn't try any of the sweet crepes, but they also sound very delicious!
Service is not so good, but whatever, I am in it for the crepes!

A soggy buckwheat crepe and a faux salad Nicoise was not what I had in mind when I stepped into La Bretagne but I left with just that and about $16 less dollars in my pocket.

The flaky canned tuna on the salad could have been overlooked if it wasn't accompanied by some mushy canned green beans. The entire salad was a bit of a disaster and a huge disappointment for a salad that was almost ten bucks.

Went in for a early dinner and was very pleased.

Good menu variety, very affordable prices, friendly staff and tasty crepes.

We started off with the French onion soup.  It takes about 15 minutes and despite being low on actual onions was very good.

We had the peanut butter and banana crepe and the ratatouille with Swiss cheese crepe.  Unfortunately they were out of asparagus and mushrooms when we were in which limited our choices.

    The crepes were cooked perfectly
    And the filling was excellent.

The meal cost a total of $25 and was excellent value for the money.

We will defiantly be returning to try the other offerings.

So far these are the best crepes I have found in Vancouver.  That isn't a very hard measuring stick though!  There are some little touches here that give a nice feel including the old French music, the wait staff that regularly tries to teach you French with every interaction, the fact that they offer both "white" and buckwheat for their savoury options.  Too many of the places around town do not have a true buckwheat crepe.  It comes folded into a square like it traditionally does in many places in France.  The flavour of buckwheat is strong, but not overpowering, and the quality of the fillings is quite good.

Bonus points for the plating on the dessert crepes.  My nutella crepe was folded into a triangle, covered with powdered sugar, and got a circle of raspberry and citrus coulis around it.  Very nicely presented, and the crepe was perfectly cooked.

For those of you from the Bay Area, you can think of this as a version of Ti Couz without the lines.  (But you'll have to come through Canadian customs to get to it!)

    So divine.

This was my first crepe experience. Evar! (circa 1998)
After coming back from Vancouver, I was on this crepe mission in the Bay Area.

Nothing will ever compare to La Bretagne.

I had their saumon crepe and I literally scarfed it down. Totally ladylike.
The creme fraiche and fried capers. MMMM. The smoked salmon was butter.

I considered docking them a star for the horribly pixelated image on the menu, but I won't because I liked their coffee.

Went just after opening on weekday morn. It was nearly empty, but it still took our table of 6 +1 toddler longer than expected to get service. Once we did, it was courteous & fairly fast. I enjoyed my apples & maple-syrup crepe - especially the fact that the apples were soft and delicious - and I believe everyone else enjoyed theirs for the most part.

My wife's crepe, with eggs, cheese, onions and potatoes, didn't have many eggs, though, and was a bit tough. We've had crepes at other palces in Vancouver (and elsewhere), and these were the toughest & driest. Not bad, but not the best.

If we were in the area again, we'd probably go back, but wouldn't go out of our way.

This is easily one of my favourite breakfast places in Vancouver. I've been going for years, and I'm never disappointed with their fresh, warm, melt in your mouth crepes. The prices are great, and the buckwheat option is, as others have mentioned, a nice treat.

I've only once tried their dessert crepes (my usual involves eggs, swiss and black forest ham for the most part), and oh boy, I think I will have to start getting them more often. I believe I tried the peach melba crepe which was a perfect balance of tart and sweet. The ice cream was particularly good as well.

Definitely a must visit. It can get a bit busy, and isn't the best for large groups, so go early.

We've been coming here for over 10 years, just about every visit to Vancouver includes a breakfast at La Bretagne. Food for the most part is consistently good. The menu has not really changed, the crepes are delicious. For a restaurant with a French themed menu you would expect a little better coffee but that's my only food nit.

Service is another story. When we 1st started coming here, the restaurant was run by a charming couple from Brittany. Maurice the owner would either smoother you with charm or snub you and make you wait forever for a table. His wife would sing in French while making your crepes. It was quite an experience. Some years ago they sold the place to some young women and it seemed to be a little more customer oriented.

We recently had breakfast here on New Years Day. With a near full house, there were only 2 staffing the place. Service suffered terribly. Orders were mixed up, customers waited for everything. Hopefully the poor service was a result of New Years Eve.

The staff is really friendly, and were so sweet we didn't even mind when our server smashed a water glass to the floor just inches from our table (accidentally, bien sur!).

    I am biased....because I work here.

    But, I also eat here!

Cafe La Bretagne is a great place to go during the week for a quick crepe, and on the weekend for a delicious crepe.  Saturdays and Sundays, the place is busy.  And with two crepe pods to cook on (the big, flat, round, protruding, cast-iron circle kind), it boils down to service as is possible, not as a perfect restaurant could.

If you love eating - go here.  You can a) indulge to your deepest sinful desires, b) have a light, healthy meal, or c) something in between.

Here go some Choice suggestions to fulfill the previously noted opportunities:

    a) one of the gratin dishes (which take a little longer since the crepe is set in a dish and baked with cheese on top - rich & delish!) or a belgian chocolate crepe with bananas and ice cream, maybe even flamed in Grand Marnier, which comes in a fiery spoon to be poured at the table.

    b) a mixed fruit with yogurt crepe, swiss on buckwheat, or, my ultimate fave for it's simplistic tastiness:  breakfast #5 (all breakfast specials come with a coffee, or tea: a really nice brew and breakfast is served anytime) which features apples, swiss cheese and sausages in a crepe - pour a little syrup on top and I'm in heaven!

    c) Another favorite of mine is the Ratatouille with swiss cheese, and a sugar with lemon for dessert.

I have been pleased with every crepe consumed, and I eat an average of one a day.

Casual, Delicious, and I'd like to think, Friendly!!!

PS:  Also, one of the features that I like is being able to have a nice glass of wine in a casual environment, with my delicious snack.

A French friend told me that this place was good. I trust her opinion, especially on matters related to French food. And wouldn't you know, she was right. I sat next to a French couple that seemed to be enjoying themselves.

La Bretagne serves up both sweet and savoury crepes. You can choose either buckwheat or white flour. They also have a few sandwiches, salads, and breakfast until about 11am. You can also get beer, wine, and aperitifs.

When I visited it was the busy lunch hour on a weekday. One French (and English) speaking waitress gracefully managed the entire restaurant. Despite running around from table to table, she was sweet and friendly. Two chefs prepared the food and occasionally jumped in to deliver orders to the tables.

My only complaint is that crepes can get quite pricey if you choose to add cheese, vegetable, meat, or seafood. Adding mushrooms to my crepe added $2.75 to my bill. At least they really pack the crepes with the goodies. Bon appetit!

FYI, Creperie La Bretagne is closed on Mondays.

1/2 hour line up for a seat and another 1/2 for our food. This is a terrific place for crepes if you don't mind waiting. I heard this place will be under new ownership in September and I hope the food will still be good.
We had 2 crepes, one sweet and one savoury. The chicken ratatouille came with lots of gooey Swiss chesse and the ratatouille was flavourful. I ordered the pear Helene which had loads of whip cream,a scoop of icecream and lots of pear slices, I did not like the fact the whole thing was swimming in chocolate sauce.

Way back in the mists of time when I first moved to Vancouver  I used to eat at La Bretagne quite frequently. Always on a Sunday of course, I wouldn't dream of partaking in a crêpe (or a "skinny pancake" as my finnish grandma used to call them when I was a lad) outside of the context of a Sunday Brunch. I'm very particular that way. I stopped going when I moved to East Vancouver, but what with my relocation back to Davie Village I've begun to hit it up again and have been reminded of what a pleasant spot it is.

This past Sunday I was out and about with Nicole F and after being thwarted in our mission to locate veggie friendly Ramen (I had a craving okay, I don't gotta explain myself) we decided to drop in for a little taste of France. We both elected to go with the ratatouille and swiss crêpe and because I had worked up an appetite stomping up and down Robson street I also ordered the mushroom soup. The restaurant had quite a few seated tables without food when we came in at 1:30 or so and there was only one server on, so we expected a bit of a wait for our food. Of course this gave me plenty of time to gossip and talk about my feelings as I am wont to do when faced with a miserable hangover, and when the food arrived after about 20 minutes my appetite was well and truly whetted. The crêpes were delicious and savory, loaded down as they were with tasty stewed eggplant and zucchini and even Nicole who's dislike for mushrooms is not inconsiderable thought my soup was "pretty good". I actually thought it was very tasty, and a sizable portion considering I went for the small bowl. Although she was quite busy our server was very personable and I'd be lying if I said that her lovely french accent didn't add to the experience for me. And when the bill came the total was $25, which is pretty reasonable considering the quality and location. On our way out we saw the cook making a delicious looking spinach and ricotta crêpe, which left me salivating and eagerly anticipating my next visit.

La Bretagne is really quite lovely, and although I hadn't been planning to go this weekend I'm quite pleased I did. It's comfortable and homey and just French enough. Big recommendations, especially if you're looking for a slightly more continental bruch experience.

I had a craving for crepes so we decided to try this place around the corner from where we were staying in downtown. The first red flag I should have noticed was that there were no customers present on a Saturday night. I brushed it aside and we ordered a savory "spinach salmon with white wine sauce" crepe. The second red flag was sounds of a microwave being used. We received our crepe within 8 minutes of ordering. Suspicious. We saw that the whole crepe had indeed been heated up, resulting in a soggy mess. Disgusting.

Even though we were the only customers in the store, the man behind the counter was just plain rude after receiving our order and money. I'd give this place zero stars if I could and would even choose to walk down the street to McDonald's if nothing else were open.

Not worth your money or time.

I love this place, it's one of the West End's little gems.  I live a couple of blocks away and we eat breakfast and brunch here frequently.  I've never had bad food at La Bretagne and the staff are absolutely great.

The couple that owns the cafe are actual transplants from Brittany, so the food and ambiance is authentically French.  Their crepes are absolutely to die for and I'd highly recommend you bust out and try the buckwheat flour option at some point.  Buckwheat has an interesting nutty fragrance and taste and is absolutely delicious as the yummy envelope for a savoury crepe.

We love their 'Breakfast Special' crepes which come with free coffee and are not usually more than $7 or $8. You get a huge crepe that is perfectly tender in the centre and melt in your mouth crisp around the edges folded square around a hefty helping of PERFECTLY scrambled eggs (how do they make these so good? best eggs ever...), cheese, ham or whatever else you choose.  It's the best breakfast there is, and I have to say that their coffee is probably the best in the West End.  This place is right next to Starbucks but I usually come in here and get coffee to go--it's cheaper and SO much better.

I've only had their dessert crepes a couple of times but they too were amazing.  If you show up on a rainy Sunday for brunch the wait isn't ever more than 10 or 15 minutes and it's totally worth it.  I'm always torn between raving about this place or keeping it secret but they are the nicest people so please skip crappy 'Cafe Crepe' and try this place.  You won't be disappointed!

La Bretagne is a little gem of a find, in my opinion, just a stone's throw from Robson Street (what other overused phrases could I put into one sentence?). I'm a fan of Cafe Crepe, but always felt their crepes were way too heavy and, afterward, usually felt too full. The crepe I had at La Bretagne was just the right amount and delicious!

I love the staff here too, who are straight from France and have lovely accents. They greet you in French and if you try, will talk to you in French as well! Vraiment charmant... certainment, j'y reviendrai (French grammar corrections highly welcomed)!

This crepe, that crepe, It's pretty much a crepe.

In my short crepe eating career I have definitely tasted better combinations of egg, flour and milk and I have definitely tasted worse. That being said, the only reason I would recommend going to this place is if you are big into buckwheat. I don't know what buckwheat is and it didn't taste that great to me but they make buckwheat crepes at this place hurrr.

The service was fine and the atmosphere was about the same as the service. My biggest qualm, outside of the taste of my crepe, was the absurd prices for "extra" toppings. "Extra" toppings include whip cream (from a can) which goes for a paltry $2.50. Whatever happened to the days where my desserts were accompanied by chemicals from a can at no extra cost?

I really do love this place. If you're a cheese lover like myself, they make the most delicious crepe with mushroom and asparagus smothered in cheese and then broiled so it gets all soft and... encased in... excuse me *drool*

Ah, there we go. Well now, where was I? Oh yes! If you're looking for something sweet, the dame blanche is wonderful-- ice cream and chocolate sauce inside a crepe. Simple, but so perfect. Highly recommended!

Our friends lead us to La Bret. on a very cool Vancouver day. It was toasty inside. We must have served as minstrels because even at 4 thirty in the afternoon several people followed us in. Cute decor, small and cozy family owned cafe creperie. Good service, especially because we were a bit picky. I had a buckwheat crepe and and a lovely bowl of Carrot, Ginger soup. Our meals were not to disappoint.
Although, I think there is dairy in the Chestnut filling ... burrrrrp!

Unfortunately, I was not able to try this place and will never try it now.

Absolutely the worst customer service and restaurant I have ever experienced!!!  My suggestion is to never try this place!!

I attempted to use my Socialshopper coupon on January 18, 2012, but was unable to because they chose to close an hour earlier than their listed time.  The doors were locked, lights out and no one there at 8 pm and  the door clearly stated they were open from 9 am - 9 pm.  I then went in the next day and asked if they could extend the coupon as they closed early the night before.  The owner (i assume) said no because he didn't make any money off of the Socialshopper coupon, didn't like them and would never deal with Socialshopper again.  Well, your  loss of profit is not my problem.  He chose to close an hour early thereby not allowing me to use my coupon.  He asked when it expired?  I said yesterday, but you closed at 8 pm and he said yes (intimating so what, we close at that hour) upon which I said your door clearly states that you close at 9 pm.  He had no response other than he would not extend the coupon.  He claimed that he only made $7 off of the coupon. Again, not my problem, but because of you making your own hours and closing whenever you feel the desire, you caused me to waste my money by denying me my right to redeem my coupon.

I also tried to call 3 times today (January 19) and no one answered the phone.  There is a reason why this restaurant is never busy.

From other reviews, it doesn't appear that I am missing much.

I would give less than 0 stars if I could.

Food is okay, but service is terrible.
When I came in the restaurant, the server was busy laughing with friends at a table. No big deal. So we sat at a table not too far from him so he could see us. Oh he could see us fine! But still, after turning and looking at him for about 5 minutes, I had to get up and grab the menus myself. Still didn't move. And after that, we had to ask him (beg him?) to take our order, because we didn't have all day. He was not useful at all.
I told him what I thought about his service, and insisted that my tip went only to the cook who had done a good job overall. The server got mad!
Anyway, I'm not going there anymore. Ever.

OMG, i literally sucked the crepe off of my plate because it was SO GOOD!

It is a french inspired restaurant - the music, art, decor is all european (I even had a suspicion the waitress was french).

My friends and I stumbled in this place after trying to find something light to eat before lunch (or was it dinner?). We each ordered something different.

All their food is authentic. My ice cream tasted like they made it and the crepe batter was perfectly golden and crisp. They have a wide variety of fruits, chocolates and other toppings to order from.

This place is a definite must!!
