Review from Solomon C.
Stayed for a few days last week. It wasn't busy probably had no more than 15 people total in the whole hostel. The beds were typical, cheap mattresses but once you put the sheets over it, you can't really tell. It's comfortable enough. You're in hostel. don't expect too much.
There were two showers in the whole place, one of the showers is in one of the bedrooms so it's easily missed. There are two toilets separate from the shower rooms so no conflicting issues there.
Free wifi,
bed sheets, blankets and pillows included
complimentary computers. decent, neither old nor slow
No towels! bring your own.
Rooms
Common area/living room with couches and a flat screen with cable
Kitchen
Outdoor patio
3 of the rooms has 4 bunk beds (sleeps 8)
1 room with 3 bunks (sleeps 6)
1 room with a bunk and a sofa (sleeps 2 and a short person)
Location:
It seems like a run down quiet area but it's safe. Parked our car on the street over night and it was fine. It's not that far from upper town. Come out of the hostel, make a right for 4 blocks, turn left and there's a long set of stairs that brings you right up to old town. Lower town is a bit of a walk, maybe 15 minutes but not a problem if you're from a city. If you're from the suburbs then... you may be a bit whiny about the walk.
