Dear fellow American travelers,
If you're looking for the equivalent of "SuperShuttle" to avoid paying an outrageously high airport taxi fare, L'Aérobus is your ticket. You can grab a bus from Trudeau at all hours, without a reservation (see their posted timetable), and get dropped at the central bus station in Montreal. If you sweet talk your driver (or your hotel is already on their stop list), you can even score door-to-door service. For return trips, just pop over to the downtown bus terminal and shuttle back for the same low $16 each way.

L'Aerobus is a cheap and convenient way to get to Downtown Montreal; at $15 it will bring you to a bus depot and smaller shuttles will deliver you to your hotel. I enjoyed an added bonus on my mini-shuttle to my hotel - the driver actually acted as tour guide on our 10 minute ride and provided me with a tourist book of attractions and maps which was handy as I arrived empty handed.
My only complaint is the amount of time - as I arrived early on a weekday the shuttle from the airport to town was running once an hour, so i had 50 minutes to kill waiting.
Also note their website specifies hotels they will drop you off or collect you from - this is not exhaustive mine was not listed but I had delivery to the door with my luggage.Listed in: My Guide to Montreal
