I hadn't had my coffee yet when I passed this little coffee shop.  I almost missed it.  It is well hidden along a quiet street just around the corner from the Guy Condordia metro.

When I walked in, it was empty.  I ordered a pain au chocolat, cappuccino, and a banana; All components of a healthy lunch =)  The pastries are advertised to be made on premises and it was crispy and flaky and made a proper mess of crumbs all over.  And I enjoyed every bite!  The cappuccino could have been better as it was more along the lines of a latte and needed to be a bit dryer for my tastes.

After I sat down, several other patrons came in but none of them seemed to be regulars as they were asking a lot of questions about the hours and offerings.  It left me wondering if this isn't a fairly new cafe that's yet to grow a following because it seems quite pleasant.  It has a substantial Asian influence with many Asian language publications and notices and the owner asking one of the other customers if she spoke any Chinese (she didn't).  After listening to them talk, I wish I'd had time to try some of the teas as he imports them from home but that will have to be for another trip!

It advertises that it has free wi-fi but I couldn't find a signal so maybe someone else will have better luck with that.  Either way, it was my favourite coffee shop stop whilst in Montreal!
