Now known as Korna Natural Pet Supplies. This place has THE best selection of biologically appropriate raw food for dogs and cats. Pretty much every type of meat imaginable, so if your pal has allergies or a sensitive stomach, you're good to go. Also a good selection of natural/higher quality kibble, and lots of great treats. They have lots of pet accessories, including the most awesome dog boots, made by "Ruff wear". They have a nice selection of "Planet Dog" toys, which are the best, most indestructible, and cute toys ever! They make the fruit and vegetable shaped chewy toys, as well as the orbee globe ball... So cute. Lots of rainwear for the dog who doesn't agree with lower mainland weather. If you are a cat owner, they stock some awesome cat trees! Around christmas time, they do pet photos with Santa, by donation, and I think all of the money goes to a local rescue org. Don't go grabbing things all willy-nilly in here, however, or you might inadvertently spend half a weeks wage.

I have to say that this place does sell a wide selection of high quality products, but everything is quite overpriced. For instance, a bag of ziwipeak venison treats are $23.99, whereas at Tisol, for exactly the same product, Tisol charges $14.99. Their items also have a very low turnover rate. For instance, The Honest Kitchen wishes treats had an expiration date of two weeks, and at other stores, the expiration date is about 6 months....clearly they do not sell a lot of their products. I also found the staff to be quite "cold" and unfriendly at times. They never initiate a simple "Hello, how may I help you?"...they just stare to see if I was ready to pay for my purchases or not....stare I mean like a deer caught in headlights, which is NEVER a pretty sight. They are just too up over their heads to care about proper customer service. STAFF-take customer service 101 or some counselling services, it MAY help with your people skills. Will not return even if someone paid me to. Cannot recommend.

As is the case with most pet shops out there, much of Natural-Plus' selection of leashes, collars, harnesses, and toys is a bit overpriced, though it's all quite cute and would make excellent gifts. That being said, there are other things we found that we liked very much, including the variety of dog treats. We loaded up on lamb, venison, and salmon bites, swizzle sticks, and jerky, and when we prepared to pay, our pup was given a few treats and lots of lovin'. We'll be back.
