I wish I had discovered this place sooner ! Don't let their somewhat dated exterior throw you off...this is Halifax's Best Kept Pizza Secret !! Their crust is as wholesome as a loaf of baked bread fresh from your grandmothers oven...light,golden and not greasy a smidge : ) I had the vegetable slice and the peppers retained a fresh crunch,the mushrooms were smokey and flavourful and the cheese was gooey and stringy... Pizza Perfection !!

Cheesy, savoury goodness! Finally a pizza joint in Halifax the has a thin, chewy dough - not the soda laden, bready dough that plaugues the rest of the city! This is truly as close to NYC Little Italy pizza as it gets - ingredients nestled in a deep, rich layer of mozzarella (maybe even a blend of two or three cheeses?), cooked until slightly browner and bubbling - perhaps a tad el dante - 1 oven minute away from perfection, but this is overthinking it. After dropping in for a drunken slice over a couple nights, made the call to order a proper pie for pick-up - ordered a large with pepperoni, red onion, green olives and mushrooms, under $20 after taxes, Pick Up. All ingredients worked, great saltiness to the olives, though was hunting for hints of the pepperoni. This can happen though, with a proper NYC stlye slice when ingredients are cooked UNDER the cheese, not on top. Would highly reccommend and look forward to going back - my only regret is not trying it sooner, having moved here 2 years ago. Two years of complaining about Halifax pizza all for naught!
