Koolex is kool!
I didn't expect a lot of success when we had a Priest's wardrobe to get dry cleaned. Let me explain. I was filming a documentary that involved a reenactment which involved a funeral scene. But we filmed at a real church and used a real Priest's wardrobe. On the second day of filming we were at a graveyard. So some of the fabric had dirt on it among other things. This was a low budget film so we didn't have a lot of money and I was hoping Koolex could not only do it for cheap but do the best job any cleaners could to get rid of the stains. They did! I don't remember the cost but I know it was really inexpensive.
The staff at Koolex Kleaners are also really nice and take pride in the work they do. This place is run like a well oiled machine and adding great customer service on top of that easily makes it one of, if not the best place in the city to go to. I highly recommend this place since it has great pricing, staff, good quality work and is right downtown Halifax for your convenience. Check it out! -

I had a bit of a mishap last Thursday that resulted in my utilizing the services of Koolex Kleaners. It loosely involved a bottle of keiths, my duvet and some unwatched episodes of dexter. Like I said...loosely.
On Friday morning I ran over to Koolex hoping my previously white duvet wasn't destined for a beer stained future and was I ever impressed with the results! Initially I was a little shocked that it was going to take 7-10 days, especially since it's starting to get cold. Delighted was I then when I received a call Tuesday morning to say my duvet was ready! That means it only took 4 days and that's considering that it was Thanksgiving weekend. The cost was a reasonable $25 and my duvet has never looked better.
Definitely recommended! -

I am not up on the dry cleaning world, but I find this service very expensive.
I guess you have to be in certain bracket to use this on a weekly basis.
When in a pinch out of necessity , then maybe. But I do find it varies on what you take in and how urgent you need it. Things to keep in mind. If you need something done right away , I guess you would be paying more.Listed in: Local Services :)

The other two reviewers mention that the prices they paid were reasonable, but I found the opposite. I took in two dresses (simple, nothing fancy) and paid over $25. Maybe I'm just not hip to the dry cleaning world, but this seems like a lot of money to me.
Other than the cost, service was fine. There wasn't much interaction, really, but I don't have any complaints in that regard.
