Went there because it was close and the two ladies before me said the bbt is good. So I ordered a bbt - strawberry + kiwi (didn't go with the full kiwi because it makes my tongue/throat itchy), it was pretty good, pearls were chewy enough, a bit on the soft side, but good enough. they let you mix up to 3 fruits at no extra cost and I believe the pearls were also no extra cost (didn't check the bill), will go there again if I crave bubble tea. As for food, I ordered their chicken terryaki bento box. I liked how the meat matched exactly how much rice there were. The california roll that came with the box looked a bit pink, maybe it was due to the food-colouring of the fake crab meat, but I didn't get sick afterwards, so perhaps it was ok. I went during lunch hour on a weekday and I was the only customer, so I don't know whether the sashimi would be fresh enough.

don't know how to do a 2nd review so here i go
went back for bubble tea tonight, had rose milk tea. turns out they DO charge 50 cents more for pearls, but there's no tax on the drink. it was quite good, didn't taste any powder! :D and the pearls were firm and chewy, which i liked. will go here more often for bubble tea now.
oh yeah when my drink was ready the guy held out the whole bucket of straws to let me pick the colour! how friendly was that??!?! -

This place is a sushi joint, though I've only come here for the drinks so far. Def hit em up for some liquids. They make GREAT fresh fruit smoothies. The pearls... well, sample one before you buy because some days are better than others. They're happy to let you sample any of their MANY bbt fillers, from the standard pearls, coconut jelly and mango stars to unique options such as sour mango and more...that I forget! For fresh fruit, this is the place to go: their fresh kiwi slush is BOMB DIGGITY and their strawberry mango is fab too.
I also love the quirky guy who works behind the counter. He's super funny and interesting...not afraid to be who he is and I dig that. You'll see what I mean when you meet him: a very unique dude. -

I came in search of Kat's Tea House and found Kokoro Sushi in it's place- literally! The menu and layout of the venue has changed slightly, but the warm and friendly staff are the same! I re ordered my hot rose milk tea and soaked up it's comforting flavour and warmth while I perused the new menu consisting of sushi delights. I ordered a chicken and pineapple fried rice feeling quite at home. They no longer serve rice puffs, but I'm happy to see that their amazing Kiwi Slush is still here. I am really stoked to see menu boards displaying the top favourites for drinks and food- it really makes it fun to see and try what's popular! The decor might need a little love but the staff and service more than make up for it!
