Review from Dru C.
Not bad in our YVR International section, and compared to the food court... I can say this is the best spot for a nice game night. If you come on the weekdays, there are no one here. Only a couple of tourist, and a couple of Vancourites leaving the country or just arriving.
The people who work here are very attentive with their customers, which is a by far a good thing for customer service. Sometimes when I am so in depth with my conservation with my friends or in the Hockey Game (Game 5 VS Chicago) they just know when to fill up my water or our bottomless pop. It was amazing service.
We ordered their chicken strips. And a basket full of onion rings to top off our heart attack that night at the same time watching the game. Everyone would crowd around the area and cheer for Canucks, same with the bartender. He was very nice to everyone it seems like because he created an amazing vibe with all the customers.
The food was mediocre and was passable, it's just a tad pricey for it to be just bar food. We did have a good time though as their service was extravagant, and this is the latest restaurant that will be opened in YVR. So come here if you are going for a late flight to somewhere departing from YVR. -

Since YVR took away the Milestones and have yet to open the White Spot (ugh) in its place, I was stuck with no other option for breakfast at the airport before my friend left on her flight. We had to walk all the way over to the International side, but the YVR staff lady I asked said it was good. She lied. I should have got her name.
The service was friendly enough, but the food was bleh. My waffles were kinda dry, and didn't look or taste freshly made. My friend's omelet had chewy, thin eggs wrapping the fillings. We suspected they were from a carton. We asked after, and the waitress said they probably were. She offered to bring new eggs, but we didn't have time. I've honestly never seen an omelet with eggs like that. I tried the egg, and it was not good. For a $13 omelet I would expect fresh eggs.
Skip this place unless there is nothing else open.Listed in: Never Again

I guess this place stays in business because of its location: the airport. Enough people passing by without knowing any better.
We came here instead of the food court, so we could sit in a quieter spot. I honestly think that was the only better thing about it.
I had their recommended seafood potato skin (don't remember the official name), but it didn't taste like anything. Sure, I could see the seafood on it, but it wasn't salted enough for any of the flavours to be enhanced. The chicken strips looked like something out of the freezer section. They weren't cheap, either.
The service was normal, fine, but nothing to make up for the food.
Looking at the other reviews, it seems like beer is the best thing here. -

The thai was good, spicy good.
I wouldn't suggest eatting the salads. Pretty boring.
Great place to sit and enjoy a couple beverages before heading to the gates. -

Beer was okay. Salad was not. Thai was delish.
A much better alternative than fast food or the food court if you want to relax for a bit on a layover or if you are super early for a flight (like we were). -

Great Lamb Burger with green salad.

This spot mainly wins stars for convenience, really. It is one of the few non-food-court options in the international terminal. But still doesn't succeed at escaping the bustle of the plastic-tray crowd.
Prices are a dollar or two more than you'd expect to pay in a typical bar-restaurant with a purely typical menu. Calamari; chicken Caesar salad; quesadillas; ahi tuna -- no surprises here.
We found the service slow and didn't see our server much. We waited for the food, waited for the bill. I had the Stuffed Spuds, which were nicely non-greasy and came with a potent, spicy dressing. I'd order them again if I returned here by rare chance.
If you've got the time to sit down for a meal before going through security, I'd suggest stop en-route rather than going to uninspired Koho. -
Review from Mina B.
we stopped in for some wine and to follow the hockey game before i had to catch my flight. we sat right at the bar and the big screen was awesome.
friendly staff. got our first round. then we got asked 3 (!) times (by 2 different servers) if we wanted a refill before we were even 3/4 through the glass. ok ok we'll have another round...
luckily we ate before we got there. menu looked ok but pretty pricey. so were the drinks.
4 glasses of house wine with tax and tip cost me $45
