    I went to Knit-Knackers in search of a specific yarn ("Twinkle Hand Knits" - which I found!) as well as whole lot more.

    This little knitting shop is nestled on the top floor of a building. It's filled with comfortable chairs (for when they host classes), a huge selection of yarn, tons of patterns, and friendly staff!

    I'm a "beginner" knitter - and by that I mean I haven't finished a project yet - but the staff were able to quickly determine my knowledge and adjust their lingo to help me find what I was looking for. They also offered me tons of selection of other similar yarns, since their colour collection of the one I was looking for was limited.

    While the great staff were a definitely highlight of my visit, the absolutely best part of my trip there was - THE BUNNY! As I waited to pay for my purchase, I saw movement in the corner of my eye - and it was a giant, freshly shaved angora rabbit! She was really sweet, curious and friendly, and a great addition to the relaxed nature of the shop (and she's litter trained!)
