Totally meant to write this sooner, but wanted to give they boys and girls at Kixs in CrossIron Mills a huge 5 star rating for a few things:
1. Offering super slick service and always willing to make you happy, no matter if it means giving you a little off the top for being a regular customer, or making sure the clothes fit perfectly before you head out of the store. Not pushy at all. Super cas.
2. Carrying awesome products at, wait for it, awesome prices. Bought a pair of Unbranded jeans for $99, a pair of Chucks for $20 (on sale) and a pair of Vans for $40 (also on sale). They just 'get it' when it comes to great products at great prices.
3. Having a store design that's fresh and makes it enjoyable to shop. I found it totally easy to find what I wanted. None of this searching the isles for this and that. Everything was super easy to find.
Cheers! -

Seriously the absolute worst experience i have EVER had in a store.
I was insulted three times in one conversation by the man who was "helping" me.
I went in there to purchase a pair of Nudie Jeans, of which I have four pairs already. He saw me looking at the jeans and asked "do you have a pair?" to which i replied that yes i had four and they are the only jeans i wear. I told him they were difficult to find because not many stores are carrying that style. I said they didn't have my size, to which he told me that they did not carry jeans up to my size (32) they only carried up to size 30. He then told me "Whenever you have the money, just come in here and we can special order them" um pretty sure I can afford them considering I came in here with the intent to purchase them, knowing how much they cost because I already own some.... at that point i was already offended and turned to walk away from him when he then stated "yeah we don't get many guys in here that want that style so we don't order up to a 32, and there aren't many curvy girls that want to spend $200 on a pair of jeans"
SO LETS COUNT THE INSULTS: first he insinuated that i did not in fact have enough money to purchase the jeans today, and then he basically called me fat telling me that i was a mens size and curvy, and then he proceeded once again to tell me that the jeans were $200 and i probably didn't have the money for it.
I can not believe how absolutely rude this man was, it was not just what he said to me but the way he acted, like a pompous asshole that was better than me. I am pretty sure that is not the way to get people to special order those jeans from you sir, and FYI you are not selling $4500 Louis Vuitton bags at a boutique in Manhattan you work at a store in a mall in the suburbs that sells mid priced goods. check your attitude.
I am taking my business elsewhere, and i recommend other people do as well. I am all for supporting local businesses but not this one. -

I've been on a mad mission to find the perfect pair of kicks for my boo and this having been said, I stumbled across Kixs. Kixs is a shoe store in Southcentre Mall that specializes in men's sneakers. They carry the freshest styles of some of the most popular brands such as: Vans, Converse, Puma, Adidas Vintage, Smack, Royal Elastics, Supra, and the list goes on and on.
This place was definitely a shoe boutique and they had some styles of shoes that I hadn't seen anywhere else in the city.
Kixs is definitely a cool place to have around, now if only they'd carry some swag for us ladies :) -

Kixs is a great destination for shoes and denim in the south end of Calgary. Most stores of this type are not located in malls, which make Kixs very accessible.
The store covers mostly European brands for jeans, but also Canadian jeans maker 'Naked and Famous'. For shoes, the selection is bigger, as noted by Sapna G., the selection is impressive and selective.
Pricing is varied, quality of service is good if not a bit pushy
Overall good shopping experience
