    I was not impressed by this kennel. They did not return my phone call when I left a message, and when I spoke to them about my cat's specific needs they brushed me off. I explicitly stated via telephone, in person, and in writing that my cat is not to go outside as she is indoor only, and the male owner initially ignored my request on the phone, and while the female owner later assured me that she would not go outside, when I went to pick her up I was nonchalantly informed that she had been going out onto her balcony. That was absolutely unacceptable. They did not follow my feeding instructions for my cat, and gave her twice the canned food she should have gotten and barely any dry food. If you have a cat with a sensitive stomach, you should know that this upset in routine can make them very sick. I had provided written instructions for my cat's care and they completely disregarded them; I doubt that they even read them. I understand that this is a busy kennel. However, when I am paying for a service (and this kennel was one of the more expensive ones in the Edmonton area), I expect them to do their jobs and take care of my cat properly. It is extremely disrespectful and unprofessional of the staff at Kitty City to disregard their clients' instructions. I will not bring my cat there again, and I strongly encourage other cat owners not to bring their cats here, especially if they have specific needs or routines that cannot be severely interrupted.
