I'm loathe to write this review since the space is small and it means classes will probably fill up, but the class I go to is too good to keep to myself.

I go to the restorative yoga (or "yoga for tight and sore athletes") classes every 3rd or 4th Sunday. Though based on how I feel after, I should really go more often.

Holli teaches the class and is awesome - the space is super chill, she explains why we're doing what we're doing, and she creates a super relaxed vibe to get your stretch on.  Two especially awesome things about the class:

    - Holli asks everybody what's particularly tight and makes sure to incorporate poses to loosen those parts up.  My hips thank you, Holli.

    - I *love* that she introduces everybody who walks in the door to each other so they don't ignore each other using the typical Vancouverite "stranger danger" strategy of interacting with new people.  It really helps build a community when you can put names to the familiar faces you see at class.

When I leave Kits Yoga, my mind is more relaxed and my body is looser.  It's a great way to end the weekend!    Highly recommended.

I went to Kits Yoga with my sister to try a Restorative Yoga class with Holli Husband since the studio is part of passport to prana.  I called in the afternoon and she was very friendly.  We were both very impressed with her teaching and enjoyed the class. The way she combines stretching and massage was great (how amazing massage together with yoga??!!) we both felt wonderful after we left! The class was small with only 5 people and you get a lot of one on one time which was nice, it wasn't intimidating at all and the environment was totally relaxed- we loved that because some studios can be very up tight and strict.  You can ask questions during the class and she explains everything very well.  I would highly recommend this class to anyone who has any sort of injury or just wants to stretch out tight muscles like I did after a rough workout the night before, or is just super stressed like my sister was!  Very beginner friendly so if you are worried because you have never tried yoga this would be the place to start! Everything you need is also provided at the studio- mats, blocks, blankets etc.
