Everytime I visit Metrotown, I need to browse this store. I am just a junkee when it comes to kitchen gadgets and if I could, I'd buy every item in here!
Kitchen Goodies isn't very big, but that makes it easy to look through. You can be finished in 10 minutes, but I stay in there for at least 1/2 hour. -

I called in to check if a particular item was in stock. The guy who answered the phone let out a long, depressed-sounding sigh before saying anything. He half-heartedly mumbled the entire conversation, and when I told him the item I was looking for, he immediately said he didn't see it (no information about whether they normally carry it). It was a specific model of spatula, and, having been there recently, I know the spatulas are scattered about the entire store. It was either very good luck that he happened to have the inventory list for spatulas in front of him, or he just didn't care.
Maybe I'll end up shopping here if the prices are awesome, or they are the only ones who carry what I'm looking for. Other than that, I doubt I'll consider them again. -

This is one small store that I frequent every time I come into Metrotown. Two things that I have found here that I have not seen at any other of the specialty cooking stores such as Cookworks, Ming Wo, or The Cookshop: A glass gravy separator - everyone makes them plastic; and an actual all metal non-mesh kitchen sink strainer - I've only seen the cheapy mesh ones except here. The mesh things are pieces of crap!
I am just a nut when it comes to kitchen gadgets. -

I Love it here! I'm a kitchen gadget kind of gal- so Kitchen Goodies screams my name. Just like Kitchen Therapy, but conveniently located within Metropolis. Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their products. But just like any pricey store with breakable items, they are always on the look out. lol- I would be too...
Overall, lots to buy, need more money to spend...
