An interesting idea for a store. Certainly. Kiss Me I'm Irish is located in the Bramalea City Centre. It's nice to find something a little different in a mall. I whipped out my camera to get a few snaps on my latest mall review adventure. No sooner did I squeeze off a couple innocuous photos when the shop girl comes charging out of the store to start *yelling* at me it's illegal to take photos. The convo went like this:

Miss Curious Customers Can Go Fk Themselves: No photos! Photos are illegal!

Me: Really? Could you show me the law?

Miss Curious Customers Can Go Fk Themselves: I'll call security!

Me: Okay. I'd like to find out from them mall policy.

Miss Curious Customers Can Go Fk Themselves:  No photos!

Me: Look, this is an interesting idea for a store. I'm just taking photos from outside your establishment. I'm attempting to review it for a web site.

Miss Curious Customers Can Go Fk Themselves: We have a business card you can look at!

    Me: Ummmm.

(A mall is certainly private property and can set whatever policy they want but violating a policy is not illegal. One might be asked to leave and if one refused that would then fall under trespassing.)

Anyway, one star for hiring the staff who IMMEDIATELY go into flame mode in response to a curious potential customer. Makes me wonder about their return policy. Goods satisfactory or we'll car bomb you.

Totally uncalled for and I didn't bother to enter a place that would immediately threaten a potential customer with arrest for daring to snap a photo of their shop entrance with the earnest intent to actually promote their business as a unique destination in a suburban mall. The food sign intrigued me and I thought maybe it's like Marks & Spencer's much missed food hall. I'll never know. And certainly won't patronize this business EVER.
