I won't lie, the place is a bit of a dive. Most of the customers are a bit sketchy, and some people may find that intimidating. I don't think it's a particularly rough bar, but I haven't spent much time there. I can say that the juke box was playing excellent music when I was there, and that the bar was serving $2 draft beer, and $3 bottles. I think for that price the place is worth checking out -- if you are feeling adventurous. It's not a good first-date venue.
Note: The bar has recently changed hands, and looks to be more of a real-live restaurant now. I haven't been back yet.
