This is possibly one of the cheapest sushi places I've ever been too. The boyfriend and I got two avacado, one cucumber, one veggie surprise, one veggie roll(s) and a miso soup for $15. That's just silly.

We went on a Friday night, so the place was incredibly busy but the wait staff was sweet and apologetic about the wait that we met. Sure, the service was slow, but there was a line out the door. Until that visit I had never seen a sushi chef sweating with excursion.

The food at this restuarant is top notch. We were weekly visitors until I became pregnant and can't stomach the thought of sushi - let alone eating it. Hoping I'll be up for sushi again soon as I sure miss it!!!

Service CAN be a little slow - hence the 4 stars.

Also - good for groups of 10-15ppl when reserving as they have a great tatami room.

New Westminster's best place for sushi.

    Food: Fresh and fast.

Ambiance: Semi-decorated Japanese restaurant. Nice Chinese owners.

    Service: Quick and friendly staff.

After reading all the reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Although the place is ran by Chinese people, the food was pretty decent. The prices for the rolls were very reasonable. The chicken teriyaki was super saucey but still pretty good. The first thing i noticed was that they use less rice and give more filling such as bigger pieces of sashimi. Too bad I won't be in the area again for while or I'll definitely visit Ki Sushi again. Google them and you'll be able to find their web page with their lunch and dinner menu online.

So I decided to give this place one more go.  I was delighted that this time I did not wear my food like I did last time, through no fault of my own.  The food is still not that great but for a quick bite off the skytrain it's not too bad.

One of the best testing sushi places I've been to. Sure it isn't AYCE, but what you sacrifice in quantity, you definitely get quality. The owner also owns the chinese restaurant next door (also very good). I can't remember which rolls we ordered but all were very tasty and fresh.

prices for sushi in canada are insane compared to san francisco. for a party of 5 - our bill was about $70 (canadian which is well $69 u.s.). five people?! five people back here in SF would be over $100 easily. we had a few plates of tempura, sashimi, bento boxes, rolls of sushi... cannot believe how fresh and cheap the food was. can't wait to go back here next time i visit family.
