I live a few blocks from this location and it is my go-to for all of my fresh produce. Plain and simple: their quality is consistent and they are definitely the least-expensive in the area. I like having a regular go-to place.
Also, they do have really competitive weekly specials, which I enjoy. Being frugal I tend to shop that way - I tend to go by what's on special. That being said their staples - potatoes, onions, peppers, etc. - are, more often than not, less than anywhere else. Why people go to Urban Unfare when Kin's is a mere stone's throw is beyond me. I'd rather take a pleasant walk in my hood, burn some extra calories, and save the cash. It's how I roll.
They have a fairly decent selection of organic produce as well as dry goods, like cereal, honey, etc. Their prices on that sort of stuff isn't quite as competitive, so I do shop elsewhere for everything that's not produce-related. -

This is place consistent and has some of the nicest variety of fruits and vegs. You can always count on this place to have what you need and the quality of the food makes up for the occasionally higher prices on particular items. A good sort of seasonal fruits as well, especially in the summer! :D Wonderful

Kin's Farm Market is the polished-up chain version of those cheap little Asian produce markets that populate the city. Kins resides in a happy middle ground between sketchy local market and high priced over-glazed grocery store produce department.
In addition to the regular selection of produce, you can usually find great Asian vegetables for cooking as well as tofu, noodles, yogurt and eggs.
This particular location is clean, well laid out and usually has some very reasonable specials on local and imported produce. A better organic produce section and clearer labelling would make the shopping experience even better.
Kin's is a great place and a regular stop on my shopping trips (by foot). -

If you're looking for good quality produce at a stallar price, Kin's is pretty much the place!
They have a large selection of fruits and vegetables, along with herbs and organic products as well. I would choose Kin's over any supermarket such as IGA or Safeway, but sometimes can be out of the way as they do not sell meats, dairy and all that other jazz.
The cashiers are friendly and I can usually get everything I need for a low price. They usually put out samples of fruits to give you a taste of what to expect so you don't feel ripped off, and can be convinced that what they are selling are ripe enough for your liking.
Two thumbs up for Kin's! -

This is a great shop to get great produce at great prices (ok enough with the greats already)
I agree with the other reviewer more local produce during our growing season would be great, but, whatever I buy there I find tastes great and is fresh.
I have shopped at Kin's for many years... we actually buy all our produce there instead of our grocery store. -

Kin's is my fail safe produce source.
Fresh and perty 95% of the time. Good prices and a respectable selection of organics. Unfortunately they have minimal local goods, other than plenty of apples (which I always appreciate). But this may be due to supply reasons? How much local stuff is really out there anyways.
So what's on my list?
Organic bananas (the price isn't much more than regular)
Local apples (any'll do)
Organic lettuce (from the states, darn)
And pretty much anything else colourful that catches my eye!Listed in: Fruit and Veg

This market ROCKS. There is good selection of items, all very fresh and ripe, ready to eat as a snack as you walk around Robson. The nectarine I ate was so good I had to eat a second one right after I was finished!
I haven't been to any other markets, but what's the need if this place is within reach? HIGHLY recommended! -

How can you go wrong?! Wicked produce, really competitive prices, 2 blocks from my house. Heck yes Kins!

A good variety of reliably fresh produce at reasonable prices. What else can you ask for from a produce store? Well, tasty fruit samples always help. That's a 5 star push right there for me.

Best place in West End for quality fruit and veg. Great hours--open early until late (usually 9 am to 9 pm despite what the sign may say). Staff is super friendly and helpful.

This tidy shop on Davie features some of the freshest and healthiest (organic, of course!) produce you'll find in the West End. If you are looking for crispy apples, juicy blueberries and farm fresh carrots, this is the place to come to in this part of Vancouver. The prices are only a bit more than surrounding markets, and, actually it is quite reasonable for the quality of produce that his here. They also have the usual selection of organic-type condiments and some Asian groceries.
