Huge fabric store with tons of selection. They have everything you want and then some, including a big selection of trim. Need some orange pompom trim? They have it!
I love wandering around King Textiles because as soon as you see something you think you might want, one of the staff is there to say "yes, you need it" or "no, that's similar to what you already cut, get the other one instead." I was there for their big Boxing Week sale and they gave us extra deals if we finished off some of the smaller rolls of fabric. They're enablers of your fabric habit, but in the nicest possible way.
They have a student discount card for cheaper deals, and they have a check-in offer for 10% off non-discounted fabric on the Yelp app! -

I always see signs for King Textiles and the advertising in this neighbourhood is quite intense. Being an avid quilter I decided to finally follow the flyer to 445 Richmond Street West and check it out. Walking in, wow it was overwhelming. The space itself is brilliant. There are endless types of fabric, endless spools of thread and anything you want, (fabric wise) you got it.
The people who work at King Textiles are so sweet, Incredibly helpful and charismatic. I am always looking for new locations for fabric and I'm excited at this find as I know it will be able to expand my pattern horizon.
As for price, its comparable with all of the other locations in the Fabric district of Toronto. This business is definitely a dream for anyone who fancies a glass of wine and a sewing machine on a sunday afternoon!Listed in: My 30 Day Challenge

This is basically heaven for anyone into Do It Yourself projects and anyone with an imagination! So here's what I did, I went in there, walked to the tube jersey fabric, bought a yard 1/2 and voila.. i have this seasons most coveted CIRCLE scarf (identical to Amer. Apparel's) for $9!
