A friend swore that this place had the best kimbap. I ordered the bulgogi kimbap. It was my first time trying kimbap, and it was super tasty! And the serving size/price was unbeatable! My friend ordered a rice dish (can't remember the name), which had some sort of fish, fish eggs, and veggies, served in a stonepot. She enjoyed her meal and had enough leftover to take home. Before our dishes arrived some garlicky soup was delivered to our table in a teapot. We didn't really know what it was, but it was tasty and we drank it all. Carpe diem!
The menu is in Korean, but has lots of pictures so it wasn't hard to order. The waitress serving us was friendly but didn't speak too much English - but enough to communicate orders.
I will definitely be back! I noticed many of the other tables had ordered the blood sausage - next time I'll have to try that! -

I returned and they have consistently impressed me with the best kimbap I've had in the Vancouver area. Once again the rice was just the right consistency with a hint of sesame oil. The fillings were changed up a little bit from last time and this time included carrots, cucumber, danmuji, and egg in the plain version and some bulgogi in addition in the beef version. The nori was nicely roasted with a hint of sesame oil rubbed on the outside. The rolls are still quite large and very reasonably priced at $2.99 for the plain and $3.50 for the beef. The dukbokki had a nice level of heat, and the rice rolls were perfectly chewy without being overcooked. The cabbage and onions lent a sweetness to contrast the spiciness of the chili sauce. Nice dish. Photo: http://www.yelp.ca/biz...
Service continues to be extremely helpful and friendly - this place has the feel of a family restaurant and the family actually seems to get along!

Kimbap made the way it should be and arguably the best in the area. Cheap, filling, delicious. They also serve other traditional Korean fast foods such as ramen, oden, dukbokki, rice soup and spicy buckwheat noodles. This small restaurant is consistent and does well for itself. Definitely should hit this place up if you like kimbap.
