To call this place a restaurant would be incorrect. It's more like eating in some Vietnamese family's living room. From the household grade appliances to the group of homeless-looking Vietnamese men drinking beer and watching the Olympics in Chinese, it feels like home.
+++SWEETNESS+++
1. I've found another place in Toronto that has 'cha ca' (lightly fried fish with dill) on the menu! Served with the smelly Vietnamese tear gas! Wicked! $8 for this dish vs. $12 at Hanoi 3 Seasons on Queen!
2. Family atmosphere, super friendly and excellent service! This is a Vietnamese restaurant, this should not be!
3. Gargantuan portion sizes
4. Good for people watching
5. Generally, the prices were very cheap. I think $8 was the most expensive thing on the menu.

1. Smaller menu and no 'bun' (vermicelli), only one size pho and soups
2. Fish sauce was a bit weak
I am definitely coming back here. What a great spot!
