I must start off with, I LOVE THIS PLACE! This my number 1 spot for Bun Bo Hue, it always has the perfect spicyness and the pig feet is tender and not hard like other places.

I used to always and only order bun bo hue but after awhile I decided to try out other items on the menu. Other likes on the menu are bun rieu, chicken pho, three meats on rice (lemon grass chicken, grilled pork chop & some patty I forgot what it was but so awesomely delicious), SMALL spring rolls not the big ones and chicken congee. Their chicken congee is definitely home styled traditional vietnamese congee different from Chinese congee but it was good.

The family that owns this restaurant are extremely kind and remembers who I am when I go, always welcomed :)

This is a smaller restaurant and older place but that doesn't mean food isn't great, do not judge a book by it's cover, This is a neighborhood gem.

Small Pho joint on Victoria Drive. I've only had the beef flank, tendon and rare beef here, but it while the meat was decent, the broth was devoid of flavour.

Service is okay, but food came out a bit slow during peak hours.

There isn't much value in my eyes and I would rather head to other pho joints not too far from here.

Wow, everyone else has been so underwhelmed by this place, but my experience was great! Pho Real!

Yes it's a little hole in the wall kinda place that is a little bit grimy, but I don't generally go and get Pho for the ambiance or service. We were the only non-Vietnamese customers, which to me is a good indication of traditional and authentic food.

Its all about that big bowl of comfort-Pho that makes me warm and happy on a rainy day, or nurses me back to health when I'm hungover and fragile.

The service was quick and friendly. The spring rolls were light and crunchy and served with fresh cucumbers and that delicious tangy fish sauce. We had the "small" bowls of Pho for $8.50 each and they were still freakin huge. Loads of fresh bean shoots, mint and lime. Lots of condiments on the table - chili oil, soy, chili sauce, vinegar, everything you need to work up a good sweat.

The Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was just like what we drank in Vietnam.

I would eat here again, Pho Sho'!

I love the place!  It's one of my favorite pho places and I've been to a lot of Vietnamese restaurants! I always get the pho tai Bo vein  (beef balls and rare beef noodle soup) or I get the dumplings, or I get the vermicelli wrap hehe this are my 3 favorite dishes!

I will always come back for more.

Ya it's a whole in the wall, but it's a good whole in the wall with good comfort food!

I say: I'm sad because they used to have the best Bun Bo Hue.

Food: Used to have the best Pho and Bun Bo Hue and the cutest waitress but all that quality has slid downhill. Used to be one of my faves =(

Atmosphere: Take out / quick bite. Typical Viet restaurant - overdecorated with LED displays.

Double You Tee Eff: The renoed but only the chairs and tables? What about the crap and Christmas lights from the 1960s on the wall?

I read the other reviews and thought to myself: really??? what??  Nobody else likes this restaurant?

I've been a regular of this place for the last couple of years.  It is a tiny-hole-in-the-wall type of vietnamese restaurant run by a small family.  I see Dad, daughter and son running the front of the house, while Mom is in the back kitchen!

Any visit is not the same without ordering their freshly made salad rolls! I suspect they do really make it fresh to order since I can taste the freshness in their quality of the salad roll plus the fact I always have to wait 10 mins.  They serve an amazing pho(I particularly like the seafood noodle soup but beef ain't bad either) with a clear, homemade tasting broth that doesn't make it thirsty for the next two hours!

Sadly, I always end up ordering the SAME things everytime I go, so I have not had the pleasure of exploring other items on their menu! (O wait, do not order their sandwich-much better at Au petite cafe or Bon cafe on Main St.) Save your appetite on their phos!

This place is a BIG DUMP!  It is literally a hole in the wall, there are ants crawling on the tables and walls. The food is average, but difficult to swallow because of the ants.

I would never ever go back there, and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Average quality Vietnamese.  I prefer to go not too far away to the Vietnamese area on Kingsway for some much better choices.

I'm surprised by the lack of stars this restaurant has as it always seems so packed when I go!  I'm a big regular there and being Vietnamese myself, I think I know a good Pho restaurant when I'm in one.

Yes this place is small. Yes this place looks quaint...with the vines hanging along the wall and Vietnamese music and videos blaring, but the food is what counts!

I usually order Pho with beef balls and ask for my rare beef to be on the side.  That way I can control how rare I'd like my steak to be in the soup. The soup is clear and very flavourful and I love how the noodles are cooked just right.  Not mushy like at other Pho restaurants.  I go there so often, they know that I like extra lime, so they give it to me without even me having to ask for it!  The beansprouts and basil are very fresh, as I often see the owner come back from the many Asian grocery stores along Victoria Dr. to buy her much needed ingredients.

Another dish that is a must order is the Bun Bo Hue.  Sooo flavourful!  Includes 2 types of Vietnamese ham: cha lua (steamed pork in banana leaf) and I forgot what the other ham is called when Cinnamon is added into the cooking process. Also includes pork's foot, and blood squares.  It's a must try!!

Salad rolls are fresh  and spring rolls are extra crispy!

Don't come here for the ambience, but do expect great food and fast service :)
