It's hard to review an auction house because nothing is ever the same from week to week but I will anyways because going to the Thursday night auctions is my new favorite thing to do.
People were always saying that you can get things cheap at the auction but I never paid much attention - I assumed that by cheap they meant "Victoria cheap" which seems to be say $100 for a used couch or $50 for an old "antique" (read: crappy/used/brass) lamp.
Anyways I finally checked it out a few weeks ago and left with some really awesome stuff for less than $10 per item! I can't believe how cheap some of the stuff goes for! Needless to say I am totally addicted. I prefer Kilshaw's over the other auctions in town because there is just something unpretentious about them ... the people who work there are really nice. Kilshaw's is a lot of fun and there is always the possibility of getting a really great deal.
