Have been here many times, and hope to go back soon. The ambiance is great, service is fantastic, and the food is consistently exceptional. Also, the service staff is wonderful to kids. One server actually carried around my 2 year old daughter and gave her a tour of the kitchen. Best Thai in Ottawa, hands down. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

"Do you have a reservation? Well we don't have a table for you" This was the hostesses response. This response is the reason I created a yelp account.
We asked if it'd be ok for us to wait(!?) and another hostess, may be a manager, said it was ok. We had our table in 20- mins and the food was good. The first hostess had the nerve to come to us and say "When I tell you no, it means no"
We were shocked. Not going back unless it's the only option in Ottawa. -

Really nice interior. Not particularly busy on a Friday lunch. Most entrees between 10 and 15 including soup (which was less than spectacular). Service friendly but a little ad hoc. Broad noodles with chile and chicken delivered exactly that -- not much more - but my friend's pad thai looked good.

Food and decor was ok, price was surprisingly decent for a restaurant right in the market - there's a but however. The one time I went (with about 10 other ppl), they were extremely skimpy on the protein (meat or seafood). So although the price was reasonable, you basically get a plate of veg with about 4 or 5 slices of meat or seafood.
Better off finding the nearest Green Papaya if you're in the mood for good Thai. -
Review from Sophie R.

When you enter the restaurant, you'll be greeted by the authentic smells of spices. The tom yum soup was tasty but was disappointed with the few slices of mushroom and prawns.
The green curry chicken has few slices of chicken and lots of bamboo shoots. The taste was good.
The spring rolls were hot and crispy. Taste was ok but dipping sauce is too sweet.
Service is good. -

Went there for lunch this week. The food was okay but not great. We've had much better elsewhere. Somewhat limited selection. Service was not good - unfriendly. Would not recommend, especially when there are other much better Thai restaurants in the city.

Absolutely every dish I've ordered has tasted great. The service is great, and the food comes reasonably quickly. Get a table by the front window and you can watch the street life as you eat!

Food is excellent, service was top notch, portions are on the large side, decor is OK, prices are very reasonable, white wine was served way too cold. I go there every month now and take a Guiness instead of wine now...

This restaurant is a great find - the food was delicious, the service was prompt and pleasant. The window tables are nice, but a little chilly on a cold winter evening.
