What I really loved was the helpful staff and the friendliness! They had a great selection and nice tucked-away little place.

4 stars for the stores dedication to BC VQA wines, for the weekly wine tasting and for the sound advice I get.
I say that nobody will dispute that while the Okanogan is beyond the 100mile range, it sure is "local" in terms of wines. Why have bottles of fermented grape juice shipped from all other continents when you live right next to a great wine region! Ok, ok, it makes more sense shipping wine than deluxe bottled water from Italy and Austria, but don't get me started on that silliness. So if you like to buy "local" wines like I do, this store is perfect for you.
I especially enjoy their weekly wine tastings. It drags me to that store again and again. You can also subscribe to their mailing list and you will get an email with background info and description of the wines which will be tried on Saturdays. This highly adds to the experience factor of the store.
Wine is that other thing I splurge on. And my plastic nearly catches fire (at least for my standards) when pay for the 5 to 6 bottles which I usually get there. But, the prices are good and the same as you would pay at the winery. So there is nothing really to say apart from that the prices are fair.
I have to mention that the store is a wee bit cramped. I wish for a more generous and creative display.
If you have never been there, I guess the best thing would be to drop in on a Saturday afternoon and taste some vino.
