Not the freshest of snacks, but still a decent selection of herbs and cooking supplies. Overall better pricing than Sobeys or metro but turn over on the products probably isn't that high.

I tried to like this store, I really did.
As a fan of bulk food stores, and the lack of Bulk Barn's in the city, I thought I had stumbled upon a small mom and pop's type gem.
The owner, the set up, all very nice, sweet and small. They had the 2 snackies I was looking for - peanut butter filled pretzels and yogurt covered raisins. These are some of my favourite snacks I keep at work in my desk drawer.
I took them to work, had a hunger pain...and dug into the pretzels. They tasted like the store smelled and were stale. Tried the raisins. Again, tasted like the store and were a bit chalky.
I so wanted to like this place and have it as my bulk food secret hidden gem in the city...but alas....it is not to be. I guess I will be back to Longo's to get the peanut filled pretzels (amazing), and to Whole Foods to get my yogurt covered raisins (also amazing).Listed in: Push the Grocery Cart
