I was able to locate a killer pair of herringbone slacks on sale here after searching for days. I searched high and low, called multiple places, all to no avail. After searching Yelp, I figured I would give Kenneth Cole a ring. They only had one pair left in my size but the friendly associate put them aside for me so I didn't need to rush up from the village.

Anyway, great pair of slacks with very little alteration needed. The associates at the store are also very helpful.

Very spacious, very clean and tidy.

They always have stuff on sale, and that in itself is worth three of stars.  The other one is for their customer service.  You know how stores will call other locations if you want something and they don't have it in your size?  Not Kenneth Cole.  They offer to give you a 1-800 number.  That does not sit well with me, especially if Ken Cole is going to charge me damn near $100 for a shirt.

I'm very sad to see the latest turn of events.  This place used to be great and I loved the people working there.  I'd stop by often, even though I could never wear any of their high heels.

    3.5 stars.

This is my favorite of the KC stores.  It is large and has many windows facing 42nd Street.  The minute you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and a "hello".  The city fades away outside as you are welcomed by the shoe department.  As you sit and try on shoes, you can see the craziness you left outside.  I love the shoes!  They're not cheap, but for what you're getting, they're affordable.

On to the clothing.  I love the style that is Kenneth Cole.  It is very classy and it doesn't overpower you.  People will admire what you're wearing and still hear you when you speak.  It is also timeless, as my son enjoys KC also, and he's 18.  He turned me on to KC in the first place.

I was in this store last year and tried on a beautiful dress, that I did not buy.  My boyfriend went back and found my salesperson, Nubia, who helped him find the dress and he bought it for me.  Today I went back in and there was Nubia!  That's not unusual. What is unusual is that I have not been back to that store in a year and she remembered me!  She is so cheerful that she glows.  She is what makes these stores wonderful: all of the staff are very friendly and helpful.

I went into this place randomly going into the train station, window shopping for a new pair of shoes. The girl who helped me was great -- even showed me how to properly care for my shoes with the gunk they sell in the store. They usually have some decent sales on stuff too.

Next time I'm there I'm getting the "Dark Room" boots. They sound slutty, yes, but my feet melted into them... mmmm.

This is a pretty amazing Kenneth Cole.  They have quite a variety of the KC line that fills their floor space.  Although I wasn't greeted when I walked in, I was eventually asked if I needed assistance.  I was completely astonished when I found a pair of men's silver-metallic rain boots for $48.  Now, I don't need silver-metallic anything, but I really had to keep myself from buying these.

This store is kept spot-less, and the staff were very friendly.  It's located in a great spot, and I wouldn't have a Kenneth Cole store any other way.

You know you have a problem when you walk in to peruse the sale rack and one of the sales ladies on the floor says, "Hey!  Welcome back!  How did those jeans work out?"  I was so embarrassed I immediately switched to the other side of the rack.  And then spotted another pair of those jeans still on sale, for even less then I paid for the first pair.  I told myself that having two pairs means I won't wear them out as fast.

I can't afford to shop here at full price,  but I love the way the clothes fit me, the sales staff is extremely helpful and they have sales all the time.

I come in, do one circuit of the full price stuff and then make a bee line for the sales rack.  If you get there on a day when they are doing 50% off everything already on sale you can get some serious discounts.

The first time I went in here to buy some clothes for work because I was starting a new job.  At least that's what I told myself.  Really, I had been ogling that snazzy dresses and bags in the window and went in only to look around.  But between the sale rack and the service I was hooked.  Most of the stuff I bought there is now in heavy rotation in my wardrobe, especially the jeans and sweaters.

According to the staff this is the flagship store, so they get stuff that may not be in other stores, so if you are near Grand Central and like KC, this is place is worth a look.

My review is not really of this or any particular Kenneth Cole store, but of the company's products in general, but since I bought the items in question at this location, I am picking it for the review.

I will say the store and its employees were very nice and helpful.

So anyway, I bought a pair of $400 eel skin boots "Made in Italy" at this mid-town location in May of 2007. Yeah, kind of indulgent, but these serve as my only pair of formal shoes as well so I wanted something that looked good and was also quality, as I thought Kenneth Cole was a reputable brand.  Less than a year later in February 2008, the soles are coming unglued from the shoes. This is after on average one day of wear per week, usually going out on Saturday nights.

I don't give a s*** how often you wear a pair of shoes...$400 dollar Italian-made shoes should not be coming apart in less than a year.

So I brought the boots in to the closest non-outlet Kenneth Cole location, in Irvine, CA since I live in San Diego. I also brought the receipt and explained my situation. The salesperson was very friendly, took my old pair, and gave me a brand new pair since that model was still in production.

February 2009 rolls around. Do you want to guess what happened to this pair? Same sh*t, different year. Plus, the soles are wearing through

I have a hard time believing these things are really made in Italy. In fact, probably the only thing "Made it Italy" about it is the label. I've read about fashion companies that make 90% of a product in China and do the remaining 10% or whatever minimal steps in one of the Italy/France/etc. countries so they can skate by with putting that on the label.

I'm getting these re-soled by a reputable shoe repairman and I will NEVER, EVER buy ANYTHING made by that sh*t peddling con-artist Kenneth Cole AGAIN!!

    FOUR HUNDRED F'ING DOLLARS!!!

Great location, right outside of Grand Central Terminal.  I arrived early for dinner so took advantage of the extra time and got some fall shopping done.  The selection of clothing is extensive as this store is larger than most of the Kenneth Cole stores I have been to.  The service person was very classy, and always on the spot (but not annoyingly so) to recommend an item and change my sizes when I was trying clothes on.  She also made sure that I received every sale price without asking  that was available even when one didn't ring up at the register.

this store opens at 8am just in case...

    a) you need a cyan and white striped white collared shirt to deflect from the bags under your eyes that everyone will be looking at during your 9am early boring - i mean morning - wireframes presentation.

    b) your vindictive ex that you knew from the beginning had a real nasty side in her cause she poured water all over her last boyfriends powerbook cause he pissed her off once and for all but you went out with her anyway cause you were thinking with the wrong head and sometimes your a little impulsive and of course a tiger never changes its stripes cause she got you back by stealing some of your nice shit out of your apt and so you found out last night after being broken up for 4 months and having taken inventory and struggling with closure at the loss of some really articles of clothing that along with the other stuff she stole from your apt out of spite she also stole your favorite grey wool sleeveless hoodie from kenneth cole that you thought you would wear today under your smashing sisley topcoat cause it smashes even more with that article of clothing layered underneath it and you couldn't wait one minute more to have of your favorite pieces back in the go to section of your closet so you had to get it as soon as possible cause, you know, sometimes your a little impulsive.

    c) your hung over from the night before and quite possibly still inebriated so you go in at 8.3am and spritz some of that free cologne thats on the checkout counter so you can annoy everyone around you from getting to close to you today cause you smell like you've been dipped in that really funked up musky incense that islamic people sell on street corners so everyone thinks your smelly instead of a drunk cause people can be overly judgmental at times but you don't give a fuck about how you smell cause yes your still drunk but not stupid enough not to cover it up.

    d) all of the above

...if you answered all of the above your a better man than i, gunga din.
