I cannot get a reservation for the Friday night that has the firework displayed.  So I have to come again the next day Saturday for lunch.  Unlike the crowded Friday night, there are not much people in the restaurant.  Of course it is easy to get a window seat.  I usually come to this restaurant at night.  This is the first time at day time.  Surprisingly the day time view on top of the Falls is so beautiful.  I think a lot of the tourists will miss this.

The prime rib is excellent although it has a bit more fat than I expected.  The steak is good as well.  I order the double baked potato.  It tastes different.  The service is good.  We enjoy at our leisure until it is time to go.

Come here for the view! Located on the 9th floor, you can get a nice look over the falls as you dine.

It's very busy, even at 11pm most of the good tables were taken. Make a reservation if you plan to go at a regular dinner time.

Food is meh - it's the Keg. Nothing exciting. Lots of steak and other seafood and meat dishes. Hard to find anything healthy on the menu. Big portions, reasonable pricing.

I had a Creole chicken entree, which was a grilled chicken breast topped in a tomato sauce with shrimps and scallops. It was OK but kind of bland.

Service was pretty good, no complaints there.

Honestly a two star spot but the view of Niagara Falls (included in the bill) is what bumped it up to a third star. I have experienced better but I've experienced worse too as far as the food is concerned. I ordered the Chicken Oscar, similar to your Filet Oscar at high end restaurants. They didn't offer a Filet Oscar and I really wanted a plate with bernaise sauce. The chicken was the best alternative.

I was really surprised with the portion, considering the fact that we were in Canada. The portion I received was more of an ideal American portion. A giant butterflied chicken breast, resting on my garlic mashed potatoes. Then topped with shrimps, scallops, asparagus and bernaise sauce. The shrimp and scallops weren't that good, same goes for the potatoes and bernaise sauce. The bernaise was strong with chervil and tarragon. The asparagus and bread they serve were the only things I really wanted more of.

I've never written a review but this place was so unbelievably bad it's forced me to pop my Yelp cherry.  For $120 dinner for a party of 2 you'd think you'd get some semblance of a decent dining experience but forget it.

The level of incompetence here knows no limits... from the hostess that didn't have a watch or a clock or even a cell phone to note what time you put your name down on the wait list (she had to ask me if I knew what time it was), to the no less than 4 glasses/plates I saw dropped throughout our 2 hours there (there were probably more that I didn't notice), to the horribly over cooked steak (ordered med-rare and got well-done!), to the tactless and transparently fake manager that gave us the all too rude brush off twice but was forced to come around with her fake smile to deliver my redone steak (rushed, snotty answers to simple questions are not how to endear yourself to your patrons), this gives the entire Keg brand a horrible black eye.

Yes, I realize the level of competition and what passes for service at The Falls can be somewhat lacking but this place takes things to a whole new level.  The view isn't even worth it for this level of frustration... save your money and go elsewhere.

The view is really the main attraction! Amazing! Call in advance to reserve a table by the window.  The food - that's a different story.  Steak was not served the way we asked for and if you're going to call yourself a steak house, you kinda gotta get that part right. However - Appetizers were WAY better than main course.  They have a pretty diverse array.  We had the snails and mushroom neptune. I would suggest you enjoy the view while enjoying a glass of wine and delish appetizers.

The Embassy Suites gave me a coupon for $40 bucks, so I figured why not.  Apparently, it's a Canadian chain of restaurants because they're everywhere.  The food was just average, but the view is great!

I tried the prime rib and the rib steak.  They were both good.  The rib steak came with these fried onions.  I liked them, but they were pretty greasy. The mushrooms were gross.  I was starving so I ate them anyways, but they were pretty strange.

Great place with a great view of the falls, especially at night. I generally enjoying food from The Keg and this one is no different. Food was served fast, the waiter was friendly, selection was a bit limited but that is the case with all Kegs. My only grip or advice to people interested in this place is to be aware to make reservations a head of time. I made reservation for 9 PM and there were still huge line to be seated. Luckily I didn't have to wait for long but those behind me without reservation had to wait a while. So anyone who wants to dine here between 6-8 must reserve ahead of time, otherwise prepare for over 30 minutes wait.

We got a $40 coupon from our hotel and a little skeptical about this place. But we gave it a try. Took the elevator up, waited about 20 mins for table and about to give up but then our little buzzer went off. We got a great table with an amazing view of the falls. We both ordered the prime ribs, it was excellent!! Overall, great dinner to kick off our Canada trip.

Don't let the interior or prices fool you.  Yes, it's dark and cozy inside, with a view of the falls.  But that's IT.  It's a CHAIN restaurant, and not a very good one.  We ordered two different chicken dishes, both with shrimp, scallops, mine with "Bearnaise" sauce, my husbands "creole".  $24.95 each.  The chicken was cooked to DEATH, in both dishes.  Dry and hard.  The creole sauce was a JOKE!  The plate was covered in an orange oil, with some canned tomato chunks and NO flavor or seasoning, whatsoever.  My sauce was also flavorless, with TINY shrimps and scallops that were obviously frozen.  The asparagus was cooked beyond recognition.  Mashed weren't even good.  I would have sent it back, but we were with the in-laws, so I didn't want to appear rude or drag it out.  They did have "Wayne Gretzky Estates" wine, which I tried, but venture OUT of this hotel, and onto a local eatery, if you can find one.  Two stars for the atmosphere, ONLY.

American chains and Canadian chains are very different animals.

We wandered into Copacabana Brazilian Restaurant across the street around 9:15. $37 for dinner, no view, and the place was empty. I was skeptical about The Keg (it's a chain=ew) but my wife ordered me to go. She was right.

For the same price as Copacabana, we had:
-Magnificent view of the Falls (we were right up at the window)
-Delicious prime rib and filet mignon - and a crispy crunchy wedge salad
-The bread was piping hot and terrific. Yes, good enough to merit its own bulletpoint
    -Terrific service

Never would've guessed it, but this was the best meal I had in a five-day trip to Canada by a country mile, and I'm a snooty San Francisco type.

We ate here right after we arrived in Canada since we had a $40 gift card from the hotel.

The view and service was amazing and the food is good, but we felt it was a little overpriced. It had gone up quite a bit since we ate here last and had said we would not eat here again....then we started looking at the other restaurants in the area.

Prices have really gone sky high in the last year and a half.
It was $26 for a cheap steak at Outback, $17 for an extra small pizza at Macaroni Grill and $17 for Nachos at Applebees, so we did end up eating at the Keg a second night. IT is the best value in Niagara falls IMO.

TIP: make sure you make a reservation and request a table at the window - it is worth waiting for.

    As for the Food:
The Escargot starter was very disappointing.
It tasted like it was premade and reheated, skip it.

I had the Caesar Salad one night and the spinach salad another night.
Both were excellent, but I would recommend the spinach salad of the two. It has blue Cheese or Goat Cheese on it (your choice), Mandarin oranges, dried cranberries and nuts. It was a good size and very tasty.

For steaks we tried the Filet Mignon one night and the Lobster Encrusted sirloin another night. Booth were good, but I would say get the filet. The lobster sauce was not all that impressive.

Steaks are served with baked potatoes, but they will substitute wild rice. The wild rice was excellent.

The kids meals are also very good. We got the kids burger and it was a very good quality steak burger. It comes with a drink and ice cream. (real vanilla bean ice cream BTW)
One of the night we got a dessert.
It is called the Billy Miner Pie and it is a large slice of mocha ice cream cake with a Oreo crust. Very tasty and a bargain at 6.95.

TIP: Get one of the coupon books in your hotel lobby. It will have a coupon for a free gift when dinning here. I was expecting a key chain, but we got a very good quality Niagara Falls Sweatshirt.

Run do not walk AWAY from this place.  Trusted Yelp rating and for the first time got screwed.  The entire restaurant was empty today - we were the only table.  It felt like THE SHINING - this restaurant is in a hotel. The only reason this got 1 star is for the spectacular view.  Stuff floating in BOTH of our waters. We both ordered iced tea...what were we thinking? How do you screw up ice tea? Well, apparently you use a powder mix and stir it in the glass and it gets FOAMY and tastes like sugary brown lemon water.  The words - HEY KOOLAID came to mind.  The prices are outrageous - $14-$17 for a sandwich.  We asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the Prime Rib sandwich. Why? we asked. Well, she said - it is no longer frozen, now it is fresh prime rib.  ALRIGHTY THEN. SOLD. Dear Lord, when they came on a 8 inch baguette that was over roasted with so much rosemary butter on the bread you could press it and the grease would just bubble up (Essentially a loaf of  hard toasted garlic bread with meat on it)  I spent the next 10 minutes pulling all the big hunks of marbled fat out of the meat on my sandwich. Why would the kitchen not prepared the meat for a sandwich? I am talking like up to 1 inch in diameter type fat chunks.
Wedge Salad (side salad) was good but it was $8.00. Where I live I could buy 8 heads of lettuce for 8.00 which would equate to 32 wedges. I left 1/2 of the sandwich plus half the bread off the other half. ENded up eating my fries dipped in the leftover blue cheese (it seemed like the thing to do).  All in all, they took one sandwich off our bill and for two brown sugar lemon waters, 1 sandwich and 1 side wedge salad our bill was $50 with the tip. Mind you - one sandwich was OFF THE BILL. $50 for LUNCH - a bad bad bad scary lunch?

Shame Shame on you Keg Steakhouse.

Best to make a reservation long in advance on Canada Day....we went down with the kids around 5:30 and were seated in the bar area...they were REALLY busy...and Ben did a decent job of paying attention to us...but he was really BUSY.....

View from the bar sucks, but from the dining room you are looking right at the Horseshoe Falls....incredible view....we got to see it the next morning because the Embassy Suites serves breakfast in the same room....

The cheese toast was EXCELLENT as an app and their local beer is decent, but not great (Rickards Red)....kids meals were ok (but expensive at 9.95 and you pay for drink), and my 8 oz Teriaki Sirloin was decent, Hot Mamma liked the Seafood Sirloin.....

Decent dinner, ok service, expensive bill!  No need to return....

I have been to multiple locations of the Keg in Phoenix, so while staying at the Embassy Suites, I stopped by the restaurant on the 9th floor. I came first for lunch, then later that evening for dinner. For lunch I ordered the burger and since I was in Canada, topped it with back bacon. Two burgers and two drinks with tip came to $50. A little pricey for two burgers.

With dinner I ordered water instead of the $3 soda. I had a grilled chicken with roasted red pepper sauce. Excellent! I also ordered the brownie sundae for dessert - which was okay, but not great. It arrived in a sundae dish, two cold brownies topped with French vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and a dab of caramel. It would have been better if the brown were warm and served in a dish rather than the cup, but it made for nice presentation.

The Keg in general is higher priced than other steakhouses, and being a tourist location was a little higher - but the service was excellent on both occasions and the view was unbeatable.

    - The Keg is located on the 9th floor of the Embassy Suites.

    - Request to be seated near the windows because the view of the falls is absolutely astonishing.

    - The ambiance is cozy, warm, relaxing and romantic.

    - Avoid the prime rib if you don't like yours cut thick.  It was a bit too bulky for my taste.  All of the side dishes I tried were tasty.

    - If you enjoy your wine, but don't want to order a full bottle, get the KEG sized glass of wine.  It's awesome, trust me.  And if you don't think so when you get it, you will after you finish it.

Let's start with the good stuff first:

PROs: amazing view. We booked reservations well in advance. Although absolutely packed and swarming with tourists, the host led us directly to a perfect table smack in front of the window looking over the falls. Salads were good - not drowned in dressing. I recommend the spinach salad. Nothing gourmet, but satisfying. We had a filet and the prime rib. The filet was better than average. Wine list has several moderately priced wines ($40) which provides a few good selections (and also includes a few Ontario wines). Our waitress was able to make a recommendation which we appreciated. Service was good.

CONs: this is in a very touristy area, so it is over priced and packed with people. There also seemed to be lots of families with small children, so if you are looking for a place with a quiet dinner, this is not the place. There was a group of rowdy adults seated behind us who were not enjoying their beverages responsibly (for being in a restaurant) which became obnoxious by the end of the meal.

Overall, we saw value in the experience because the food is slightly better than average and the view is amazing. Not a place I'd run back to, but I'm glad we went.

We went to the Keg because the Embassy Suites package came with a $40 voucher for one of the restaurants on the premise.  We have had the Keg before in other locations, so didn't think too much of whether to try it at Niagara Falls or not.

Well, the first night we got there, we went to TGI Friday because it was so late at night.  We were starving, and the place was open.  We looked at the menu and the price... and tasted the food.  Was just terrible.  Soooo, when we thought of going to the Keg, we were thinking the price will be way hyped.

It was not.  We were actually pleasantly surprised.  We ordered a soup, 2 appey (1 as my main meal), and prime rib for my husband.  Although the prime rib was excellent and the french onion soup tasty, I had to return one of the appetizers (hence the 3 stars) while the other appey, while acceptable, were not as good as expected.

If it weren't for the two failed appetizer, it could have been such a great experience.  The view was excellent.  The prime rib was beautifully cooked.  But to have served a seared tuna dish that is fully cooked, how many failed pairs of eyes were involved?  The cook that prepped the dish, the line expediter (if any, as it was slow), the server that just didn't care or didn't know?  It's not a subtle mistake like whether the steak was cooked medium vs medium rare. It is so easy to tell whether the tuna was fully cooked or seared.  And it wasn't because the kitchen was too busy since we went for a very early dinner and there were less than a dozen tables.

The tuna came back, seared to perfection and the server apologized.  But still left me thinking, were you going to serve it and just try winging it?

My girlfriend and I recently went over to the keg for dinner and unfortunatly, have had the worst time. Ever! Right off the bat, it took a server about 15 minutes just to acknowledge our presence. After watching another table walk in after us, served, and have drinks we thoght that was enough. We did talk to a manager and although he did take care of a bottle of wine, the employees of that keg are terrible and need to learn to smile.

As a vegetarian, The Keg may seem like a strange place to review, but they have appetizers/sides that are really good, so I'm always taken care of.  I had the grilled flat bread with a mushroom spread, goat cheese, onions, grape tomatoes and a balsamic glaze and tempura snap pees and asparagus.

A group of us had reservations for Saturday night, and I highly recommend have appys/drinks/dinner there.  Enjoying a meal with the amazing falls for a view, is quite a treat.

Do make reservations.  We were there at 6pm and it was standing room only with people trying to get in, and every table was taken.  Our waiter was nice, but with it being so busy, he wasn't able to be that attentive.  No refills on drinks were offered.

I gave it 4 stars because of numerous tourists with small kids at the restaurant.  By the screeching, and crying, and fussing, one can only assume the little ones had already spent a long day of sightseeing.

Unless you like food with bland flavor pass on this place.  Service was fair, a bit slow buy not too bad.
Worst mojoto I have ever had. Asparagus had little seasoning other than butter. Sour dough bread, wasn't (sour) more like wonder bread... Bleh.  Asked for my steak cooked medium to share with the wife but it came out very medium rare. Flavor was ok not great, but had lots of gristle for a top sirloin. Ceasar salad was awful, I could distinguish the powdered garlic not fresh, and the lettuce was wilted with a thick slimy dressing that made the limp uncrisp lettuce cling to your mouth.

They aim for a 3 Forks feel but are more like an overpriced sizzler. My advice walk a block or two down to the Tony Roma's and get some tasty ribs or a steak, and you'll be much happier.

At first I was hesitant to go for this restaurant. I was not a huge fan of steaks and I thought it was overpriced. However, I went with my guts and tried it. A very good decision. I had the Top Sirloin & Lobster for my entree and for my appetizer I had the Calamari. The portions were a bit small but the quality and the taste made me forget about it. The service is friendly and welcoming. The restaurant decor feels modernized and romantic for couples. I would recommend this to anyone with a date or a family.

The Keg was a pleasant surprise.  With this amazing view, it could have been a mediocre restaurant with average food, and just rely on the view to bring people in, but it didn't.  The food was delicious, and the service was excellent!

We got there early, planning on waiting for a table by the window.  We enjoyed a drink at the bar, and got a great table within about 15-20 minutes.  We explained to our server that we were hoping to see the lights come on after dark, and she was most accommodating - putting in the order for each of our courses separately so that we could draw out the evening.

We had some huge and fresh salads, the goat cheese appetizer (the acid of the tomato relish was great with the tangy goat cheese), and the calamari - perfectly crispy with great sauce.  The steaks were great, and came with excellent sides and lots of choice.  We got the trio sampler of sides - mushrooms were amazingly good.

All in all it was a great evening, and worth the money that we spent.  The view of the falls was amazing.

We were looking for a nice place to watch the fireworks on Sunday (why are the fireworks Friday and Sunday and not Saturday?!?) and decided to eat at the Keg even though my gf already has been there.

Didn't really want more meat since we ate at Copacabana the night before, but ah well..

We both had the sirloin.. Mine was topped with crab and hers had crab on the side.. I thought the meat was cooked very well.. The appetizer of artichoke, crab, and parmesan was ok..

Service was good, but not great.. Decor was nice though and we did have a decent view of the falls and fireworks..

I would go back especially if we decided to stay at the Embassy instead of the Sheraton..

This is an average masquerading as something better than it really is - considering the great view this is really disappointing.

Don't be fooled - this is corporate food.  There are some really good dishes and some stellar ingredients, but it's clear that most of the menu items have been created by committee.  Let's remember, this is a large chain and at the end of the meal you've really just paid for an expensive version of TGIFridays.

    RECOMMENDATIONS:
    If you do go, please be sure to do these things;
    1. Eat dinner early - your chances of getting a Falls side window table increase.
    2. Order the Blue Cheese crust on any steak you order. (Chicago style is a good choice as well.)
    3. Order a flight of the mini desserts - you always have room for a timy dessert bite.

I went here on my birthday during a trip to Toronto/Niagara Falls on the suggestion of my travel partner.  While she raved about the place, I wasn't all that impressed.

There were very few people there so we were seated right away and at a window so we could look out the window after looking the Falls.

I was driving so I didn't get anything to drink and I ordered a salad and a starter instead of a main.  The waitress, otherwise nice, tried to convince me to get a main, but I explained that I didn't want a big meal and the 2 smaller options would be good enough.  Even though she knew that I was eating the starters as a main, she still brought them out before my friend's meal and 10 minutes later asked why I hadn't eaten any of it.  This prompted her to bring out the main dish.

The salad was OK, but needed more dressing as it was a bit on the dry side.  The scallops were tasteless and didn't have very good texture - they were a bit slimy and unappetizing.

Nice place for the view but not my top pick for food.

As part of our two night package deal at the Embassy Suites we were given a  40 dollar food voucher to use at the Keg and also a daily morning breakfast buffet.  We managed to drag our bodies to breakfast each morning and were able to enjoy some lovely food stuffs in the big dining area.  The view is great, but it was far too sunny in the morning for us to look out the windows without burning our retinas.

We attempted to have dinner at the Keg on the second night of our stay, which happened to be a Saturday. Since I am a silly goose, I didn't make a reservation and when we found out the wait would be at least an hour, we were a bit discouraged. However, one of the friendly hostesses informed us that on the first floor of the hotel we would find the Keg Lounge which has the same menu and would probably have less of a wait. Knowing that my B was a hungry boy, this was our best option and we took the vator down to try our luck at the lounge.

The atmosphere of the Keg Lounge was charming and quite romantical with big pub chairs, blue lighting, intimate candles on the table.  Although it doesn't have the view of the falls like the main Keg restaurant, I found the quiet, smaller space to be a perfect fit for a special dinner.  Also, there was no wait and we were promptly seated at a table and greeted by our server.

The menu is obviously full of meat and more meat, which for me as a vegetarian is always fun, but my Brad loves meat and I love him so... no it doesn't work that way.  There were many options for him as they offer steak in a variety of cuts and temperatures (blue rare!) and even have combo meals with meat and seafood. B decided to go for the prime rib medium size (27 bucks) with rice pilaf as the side and he was a happy boy.  His meat was cooked well and he finished it all despite it being a rather large cut of meat. It came with both an au jus sauce and some horseradish, but B wasn't so into that.

While my choices were much more limited, I was happy to see a number of starters that would work for me. I am trying to like mushrooms more despite hating them for almost my entire life. I selected the grilled flat bread which had a mushroom spread, goat cheese, onions, grape tomatoes and a balsamic glaze. It was delicious and a serving large enough to share with my sweet boy. I also had a ceasar salad which was pretty standard but plenty of food for me.

We easily used our voucher to pay for the meal and B covered the rest which was around 20 dollars. so sweet.

Great view, good service but had to wait a bit longer than usual for the main entrees..but we didn't mind that given the view.

Visited on a Friday afternoon in February, about 2pm.
After a late big breakfast and morning of wandering around the falls in the freezing cold wind, we headed up to The Keg. We parked at the Casino for $5 and walked over.

This was our first paid-for meal in Niagara Falls and I knew it was going to be overpriced, and it was. However, because the restaurant was mainly empty we got a great window table and had a spectacular view. Our waiter Matt was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the area and view. Service was a little bit slow, but could have been the relaxing vibe we were giving off. We asked for bread or crackers when we sat down since I was feeling a bit shakey. Matt brought both right away and the bread was warm and crusty.

Boyfriend had a classic burger with sweet potato fries for $13.45. Also ordered a side salad for $7.75, which was a decent size for a SIDE salad but not worth eight bucks. He had Pepsi with his meal and requested a (tiny) to-go cup for $3.49. Ouch.
I ordered the Chicken Burger w/fries ($14.95) thinking it'd actually be a ground chicken burger, but it was really a grilled chicken breast sandwich with cheese and bacon on a bun with sesame and poppy seeds. (I chose the Canadian bacon (When in Canada...) , which was thick and a lot like ham/Spam.)

Our pre tax bill came to $39.64 for two sandwiches, a salad, fries and a Pepsi. Add the HST tax (fed & regional taxes) of $5.15 (13% !?) and a 3% DMDF (Destination Development & Marketing Fee) of $1.19. Total bill was $45.98 before tip. I suppose in the end it was worth it since we didn't pay to go up and see the view from the Skylon Tower or SkyWheel. My boyfriend loved the view and we had a quiet relaxing lunch.

We could not get a table upstairs at The Keg located on the 9th floor of the Embassy Suites on Friday during the 3-day weekend because the wait was 90 minutes. The concierge at the hotel we were staying at recommend the restaurant for the food and the view of Niagara Falls, but unfortunately he didn't tell us we should have made a reservation first because half the tourists in the city were up there waiting for a table to see the fireworks. Now if he wasn't a teenager or had known any better, he would have offered to call and make a reservation for us. But now we know better.

Luckily they have a smaller restaurant downstairs, so we were able to get some food. The problem is all the food is cooked in the kitchen upstairs, so it took a while for us to get our food. Of course we did end up missing the fireworks due to that, but at least we had a good meal. I had the mushroom steak and it was delicious.

As for the rating, I simply cannot give this place more than three stars because:
    - The chaos upstairs when trying to get a table.
    - The lighting in the restaurant downstairs was very dark.
    - We never got to see the view of Niagara Falls from the restaurant upstairs.

My sister and I decided to go out for a nice dinner while we were in Niagara. The Keg Steakhouse came highly recommended.

We were promptly seated and offered a wine list. We settled on a bottle of a local Niagara Riesling; wine was delicious, sweet but not overly.

I decided on the Top Sirloin and King Crab. Steak was amazing - perfectly cooked to medium. The King Crab was tender, and flavorful; served with clarified butter over a tea light candle to keep it warm. Did I say amazing yet? Well, it was.

The view was a great addition to the dinner. 9th floor of the Embassy Suites overlooking the falls at night - which they light up from 9-Midnight.

Wish I'd had room for dessert, I'm sure it was also great. Service was spot on, our server was attentive but not annoyingly so. A couple two tables away from us got engaged right there... it was very sweet and the entire restaurant broke out into applause :-)

I highly recommend you try the Keg, you won't be disappointed.

The pluses: great view, great location, decent prices (25 for the classic dinner: steak, spinach salad, and veggie sides and baked potato)
The bad: overly quick service (most likely to push turnover of tables. Steak arrives before apps or salad are halfway finished)
    Service mediocre, drinks, eh.
Steak ordered medium rare was definitely medium.
    Long wait times.
Overall, worth the view, but not for the food.

    Great service.
Food is some hits and some misses.
View is good based on where you sit. Make sure you ask for a place by the full length window when you make your reservation.
Very efficiently run place but gets noisy due to the the sheer size of the dining room.
We ordered bbq pork ribs and garlic shrimp pilaf.
Ribs with bbq sauce and fries was good but the shrimp was overcooked.
Restaurant manager gladly discounted the bill after we informed her that the shrimp was overcooked.
    Spinach/Cranberry/Gorgonzola Salad was really good.
    Cocktails and Desserts were so-so.
Overall a good place to go for the view and the service.

The Keg is located on the 9th floor of the Embassy Suites hotel...Can't miss the big sign on the building. They have an amazing view of the Horseshoe Falls.

We didn't have to wait to be seated and our server was clearly busy but stopped by just to let us know he would be with us shortly. In no time he was back to take our order.

When the food arrived it was amazing! If anything could have melted the layers of ice covering Niagara Falls, it would have been the piping hot 5 star filet at The Keg! It was the perfect example of a medium rare steak. The asparagus was delicious and the garlic smashed potatoes were the just the right consistency.

Then came the ultimate warm apple cobbler...

Everything at The Keg is worth every penny!

This restaurant was the best thing about me and my boyfriend's romantic getaway to Niagara.  I was hesitant at first, because some of the reviews were a little negative, but after an evening here I am completely sold.

We had reservations at 8:00pm, but decided to get there a little early.  We sat at the bar, but were then immediately seated.

The food was FANTASTIC.  Best steak I have ever had (and I've had a lot).  Our waitress was extremely attentive and sweet.
Our table was right next to the window with a beautiful view of the Canadian falls.

The environment is very cozy and romantic, and a great place for a date.  Not so much a family place though.  The bar has a lot of seating and great cocktails too.  This place is cheaper than the Skylon and MUCH classier, as the Skylon serves their food in what looks like airplane containers.

    Two thumbs way up!

If you are in Niagara Falls on the Canadian side, this restaurant is a MUST! Make reservations though. We were lucky to get a seat by the window, but I think it was just pure luck being at the falls during off season during the Thanksgiving week!
The service here was perfection! We loved our waitress! She even got us the recipe from the bartender for a candy apply martini we enjoyed!
The view was amazing, of course overlooking the falls all lite up on a gorgeous night...
The food was generous and delicious! I split a salad and a steak/crab legs dinner with my mother and it was plenty of food for both of us!
We splurged on a local Cabernet which was the best wine I have ever had!
If you want a cheap meal, go to Burger King...if you want a memorable night and fantastic food/service, go to The Keg and be prepared to pay for it. All in all, the prices were not TOO TOO bad for the service, atmosphere and food!...
    I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

This is a must place to eat while staying in Niagara Falls.  The view is amazing, and the food is delicious.  As other reviewers have commented you do want to make reservations for a window table in advance as this place is always busy.  The only negative I would say is that there tends to be a lot of noise due to the large, busy tourist restaurant and sometimes the attire of some guests tends to be sweatshirts and jeans.  I write this off as dumb tourists, as I feel this is a nice place for steak & seafood and guests should be dressed appropriately.

As locals, some of us have gone up there for late night drinks or desserts as that can also be a nice evening.

Good views of the Falls.  Slow service - I think that the waitstaff have too many tables each.  The order was wrong, but the waitress fixed quickly and without attitude.  Food was adequate.  Ambiance is noisy, corporate and cold. I can't recommend.
