Review from Dishan W.
Not many things are more fun than going out with steak with a group of friends during a mini vacation, and while the food here is not any different from any other Keg, I give it 4 stars for their fantastic staff. I've been here 2.5 times (the 0.5 just for drinks) and while we've always had no problems with the staff, the last time I was here, our waitress just made the dining experience so much better for us. I must admit if it were not for that fact this would probably be just a 3 star place, so hope you don't get stuck with a boring waitress :)
Apart from that, the restaurant is in the Courtyard Marriott hotel, and the location is not far from the Clifton Hill area and as a result is not right in the middle of the busy and noisy entertainment area down there.
There are probably better steak options out there, but in terms of the dining experience/atmosphere this Keg does a good job. And if you're staying at the hotel, you can just charge your food bill to the room bill and leaves you feeling like you just had a free dinner......sort of.Listed in: A Trip to Niagara!

The steak I had here was delicious. I could not stop eating it even though I was full..... That good.
Also had my first "Canadian" beer. Not a huge fan, lol.
The bread here comes hot out of the oven and is amazing. -

There is no service at this place when we went there it took them 15min to sit us even tho the place was dead on a Saturday night.
But the worst part about it was when we saw the waitress drop forks on the floor and just put then back on the table.
After that we did not even order and left yummy!!! -

This was the first restaurant we went to on our most recent trip to Niagara Falls, but it was not due to any kind of loyalty to The Keg as a franchise, because I've found them very hit and miss. It was because my wife had cashed some points and we had vouchers.
It made a very good culinary start to our trip, as the food, atmosphere and table service was fantastic. I'd probably even go so far as to rate it 5 stars, but I have to knock one off because, when we initially entered the restaurant, the hostess hummed and hah'd and ran off to check something, while a gaggle of other employees stood around and yakked while we stood there waiting. This in a practically empty restaurant.
We were well taken care of after eventually getting a seat, and the food was excellent. The rib steak was perfectly cooked, and the cesear salad fresh and tasty. So my advice is, don't give up and walk back out the door while you wait for a seat. -

I went there with my family when we stayed at Courtyard Marriott which it's connected to. We had vouchers that came with our hotel package. I've been there more than once and everytime we went we made reservations. The food is awesome. The bread wasn't like normal dinner rolls. It's a big piece of break cut into four, and it was very warm and soft. The main course are all very delicious, even the veggies on the side. They cook the meat just the way we ordered it, unlike some restaurants where I've been to that mixes up between medium and medium-rare. Their service is a bit slow and definitely isn't the best, but overall it wasn't too bad.
