*Based on the takoyaki alone*
I've been to Osaka Japan, where Takoyaki is said to be the best in the world. I indulged, eating T-balls from street vendors, restos, food courts, etc., and loved them all. Since returning to Canada, it has been hard to find good takoyaki. Often I find takoyaki here is undercooked and doughy (sorry Richmond Night Market); not a pleasureable texture for t-lovers. WELL, my sis + posse were at the Crystal Mall food court and ordered a variety of things, she ordering takoyaki from Kasugas.
It was... perfect.
More than perfect. The best takoyaki I've ever had. Especially hot and crispy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the inside. Totally impressed. I guess now I don't need to go to Osaka! ; ) -

Had their vegetable noodle soup. It was was good for what it was but it didn't thrill me. Wouldn't mind trying out their other items next time I'm at Crystal Mall, which means in another few years...next time I will have to take Cyndi's advice and order some takoyaki.. hmm!

Cheap and adequate food. Nigiri was very thin on top of the rice. Probably won't come back.
