Review from Kendra S.

I've been here twice now with two different people, both times on lunch break from work. It was the first time my 2 friends and I have ever had Moroccan food. I quite enjoyed it both times as did one of my friends. The second time I went with the other friend, she didn't like it - but then again I would in no way call her adventurous when it comes to food. Not that the food requires an adventurous bone in your body...which made her reaction rather sad (read pathetic).
The food was very good, the décor is lovely, and the atmosphere is relaxed. If you are on a strict no carb/starch diet, this won't be the place for you as the dishes either contain lots of couscous or lots of potatoes. If you are a unilingual Anglophone, don't be offended if the servers or maitre d assume you speak French - keep in mind that Morocco was once a French protectorate so French is one of the dominant languages for its people (you get one guess what the other is). But don't worry - if you don't want to practice your French, they speak English as well. Service is friendly but not ingratiatingly so. -

I was yelled at by the owner because my friend and I wanted to order desert and coffee. He said he would not serve us unless we ordered a main. Let me also remind you the place was almost empty and it was late in the evening. Not even around dinner time.
So we got up and left. I will never step my foot in here again.
