Not too shabby. I lucked out this year with the warm weather. I had first come into Kal Tire back when that first snow storm hit, but it was going to take weeks before they could put my winter tires on. I guess all of Edmonton had thought the same thing I did after that day when downtown became a parking lot.
But luckily, that snow didn't last and my procrastination didn't kick me in the butt, for once. In fact, it worked out in my favour because I haven't worn out my winter tires. It's January and we're still without snow, but I figured, OK, it's gotta snow at some point, right? I may as well get them put on.
I called Monday and booked an appointment for Thursday (they actually could have taken me earlier but I had other meetings booked already for this week). Arrived just before 2, they took my car in shortly after, and the whole thing was done by about 10 minutes after 3. The waiting room is nothing fancy, but there's free coffee and - wait for it - free popcorn. Better than the waiting room of any other tire place I've been to, right?
The whole thing came to around $30 and they drove my car back around the front for me with the summer tires in the backseat exactly how I had stacked the winter ones.
Definitely impressed. I don't really know or care about anything car-related but I know I was impressed by this place and I'll be back in spring for my next tire thingamabob. -

Used to be a customer there for almost four years. Got new tires from them. Went to another company in Feb 2012 as we had been dealing with a leaking tire for several years. Every time we went there (four times perhaps more) they claimed it was fixed and they rotated tires. Not so. They never rotated the tires. They never fixed the leak, just pumped in air. I don't trust them anymore. I feel scammed.

My first dealing with this Kal Tire location, was a few weeks ago when I had a flat tire. I know this time of the year is busy for all businesses dealing with tires, but Kal Tire was the only one willing to take a look at the tire right away - everyone else wanted 2 to 3 days. Not only did they fix it quickly, they didn't charge me! Like Nicole B. in the previous review - I was shocked! Really, who doesn't charge for anything and everything these days? And it wasn't because it was a previous Kal Tire purchase or anything - I had never dealt with them before.
So, while waiting for my flat to be fixed, I knew I needed new tires soon and thought I may as well get a quote from Kal Tire. I decided to go ahead with the purchase and had them put on this morning. I had an 8 a.m. appointment and they were ready for me (again, should be common sense - a customer makes an appointment and you're ready for them, but that usually never happens). I was in and out of there in no time. AND, the final price came in about $150.00 LESS than the quote. Another added bonus, free repairs, free tire rotation, free service inspection, and so on.
I really hope these guys continue their great service. I am more than happy to refer everyone and anyone to this location!!! -

I had to get a new tire because mine was leaking air and I didn't really know where to go.
I went to Kal Tire because it happened to be on my way to work. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me that I didn't need a new tire!
They informed me that there was something stuck in my tire and they could patch it up very easily. Hooray! Kal Tire saved the day!
Even better than not having to buy a new tire was that they patched my old tire for free! I couldn't believe it! No one gives anything to anyone for free these days. I was so happy!
Kal Tire is awesome. If you need tires, some work on the car, whatever, go to Kal Tire!
