For parents, or aunts, looking for great, unique toys Kaboodles has them. They don't cater to the toy giants and that leaves shoppers and kids drowning in gems fit for all budgets. I've fulfilled all my favorite aunt Christmas obligations during every post Thanksgiving sale. Kaboodles has fun, imaginative toys, as well as ones that teach in disguise such as chemistry sets.

A quaint but crowded store loaded with "wholesome" toys for children of a wide variety of ages. The staff are friendly and helpful.

On a brief shore excursion off a weekend cruise, we got to toodle around Victoria a bit.
The guilt trip awaiting us at home meant we had to do a toy store stop for the rug rats.
Kaboodles fit the bill. Any place that has a selection of rubber chickens and Lego is the place for me.
It is a little pricey, but the selection is great and they had lots of neat things you don't see at the big box toy places.
And don't forget the rubber chicken.
