I'm really not sure why more people don't shop here, I personally love it! Well aside from the fact that there is usually a large section of each store dedicated to wicker.
I have had good and bad experiences with this but am overall pleased with the cost and quality of their furniture, it is very similar styles to Ikea but a little less expensive. Much like Ikea I love that I can shop online and just run into the store and grab my items, not that it takes long to find them, Jysk locations are not usually huge like Ikea.
I have their Chaise sofa and love it, ordered online for in store pick up and was in and out of there very quickly! I looked at a freestanding mirror that I really liked but wasn't in stock, was put on a wait list and then never contacted but they still sell the item so I know it was restocked, lame!
I have been waiting for their Laura bed frame to go on sale for months and I finally got lucky, 20% off all furniture, I quickly rented a truck and dragged a strong man friend out to the heart of Richmond to collect my treasures. I had put the bed frame on hold over the phone and loved that they let me do that...but when I got to the store and I inquired about it I was told it wasn't held and asked if I still wanted it? What...of course I want it if it is in stock, why reflect negatively on your company by telling me it wasn't actually put on hold? Picked up a new queen size bed frame, office chair and shower curtain for $250 with tax, unbeatable price! It also color matched perfectly with my Ikea Malm bed side table so it fits right in with my old furniture!
I would actually buy at Jysk over Ikea any day for furniture...but Ikea is where it's at for housewares...there is a lot of room for improvement in that department with Jysk although they do have some nice housewares. -

I came here looking for kitchen utensils, but didn't find much. Their strengths seem to be linens like placemats, towels, sheets, and chairs and patio furniture.
